Life began for Christopher Hoffpauir in Lafayette, Louisiana. Poor experiences at the dentist led him to a path of dental phobia. In 2002, a severe dental infection changed his life. Seeing first hand what a difference proper dental care can make in someone’s life, Chris decided to go back to school in pursuit of a degree in dentistry. Returning to school at 30 years of age, he was not the typical student. Years of work experience in various fields gave him a different perspective than that of most students. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of Houston Clear Lake with a BS in Biology with a fo-cus on Molecular and Cellular studies , and his DDS from the University of Texas School of Dentistry in 2012. In 2013, Dr. Hoffpauir opened a new start up practice in Alvin, Tx where he continues to practice today. Dr. Hoffpauir has a special interest in utilizing the latest technology to offer the best possible care to patients, with a focus on helping pa-tients with dental phobia overcome their fears.
At Winning Smiles Family Dentistry℠ , we have adopted the latest technical advances in the science of dentistry. These include Digital Radiographs, Digital intra-oral cameras, Digital impressions systems, and ergonomically designed dental massage chairs.
