A go-to for a $100 hamburger. I have been here many times. Staff are always friendly, fast and accommodating. They have one of the best omelets around. They are hearty and they use fresh veggies. Have had lunch in awhile here, but it is great as well.

Airports are cool, airplanes are even cooler, flying them is the coolest. 10 out of 10 would recommend getting some distance from the ground occasionally.
It is a small city where you find Legoland. You can get to see beautiful homes near the lakes! I found one beautiful house and I love the photos here for you to see them.
Stop in regularly to have breakfast. The FBO is easy and friendly
Arrived to depart 9am had to sit in a shuttle for over 30 minutes while the fbo waited for 2 men to use the bathroom, fill their coffee etc. we could have gone out and back multiple times. So this fbo is ok with delaying 8 other people in the shuttle for 2 people who think their time is more important than everyone else’s. I wouldn’t recommend coming here during a busy event.
Flew in for a few hours on a business trip and the staff were excellent. Great car rental from Enterprise and the FBO/main building has plenty of amenities for both crew and pilots. Look forward to going back. I had to wait for a summer storm to pass and it's a very pleasant place to hang out.
We came here to switch our Hertz rental car and ate at the flight Cafe. Great food and atmosphere. Quick service at Hertz.
As a nearby neighbor of the airport my "experience" is coming from a different viewpoint than most of the folks who have posted reviews. We enjoy watching most of the planes taking off and landing. Most. However, I'm sitting here at 7:30 a.m. on a Sunday morning left thinking that the consideration for the nearby neighbors is zero. Loud planes flying directly overhead that are obviously in need of maintenance beingmy chief complaint. Followed closely by the honking fuel trucks. Don't insult my intelligence by excusing the above. I know the difference between necessary honking and 2 trucks having fun with each other. Just as I know the difference between the sound of a well maintained plane and a rarely maintained one. Perhaps the airport management could enforce the rules ? If there actually are any.
We fly into this airport often for a bite to eat Flightline Cafe Attached to FBO and the FBO staff are always very friendly and helpful. Due to it's location, Winterhaven is a fairly active Feild, so there is always some eye candy flying in or out while we're there. If you haven't been, I would certainly recommend stopping by to experience it for yourself.
