I always enjoy my visits. “But who ever enjoys a visit to their dentist!!” But I have found that here, everyone is always so friendly, which is quite calming. Never have to wait more than 5 minutes. Parking is easy. The doc is also awesome. He loves to converse with all of his patients, as well as his staff. In my opinion, I would highly recommend Winter Springs Family Dental.

I hate writing bad reviews, but I went several months ago and honestly felt like they were just trying to get their numbers with me. I was experiencing some gum bleeding and they took that information and ran with it. Said I had gingivitis all over my mouth, all my gums were receding, etc. The bedside manner of the hygienist I felt was not the best. She examined my mouth, measuring my gum line and reading off numbers I did not understand, only to look me in the eye and straight up say my gums were very unhealthy, with no other explanation, that's literally all she said. I felt like I had to work to get actual information from them. They told me I needed root planing and scaling to restore my gums The dentist came in and never even mentioned gingivitis to me. I had to ask him for more information, as he did not bring it up on his own. I spoke with an old dentist friend of the family who stressed getting a second opinion, as she did not believe I had this issue. I went to another dentist who found a minor gingivitis issue that did not require root scaling of any sort, just a basic general cleaning! Based on other reviewers who had similar experiences, I'd say this was not a one time mistake on their part but an attempt to get more numbers. I'd stay away from here.

I have been here twice so far. I don’t go as often as I should due to anxiety with dentists. Both times Stacey has been my tech and she is phenomenal. She doesn’t rush the treatment and understands my issues and does everything possible to help me cope. I’d highly recommend this office and especially Stacey. Thank you Stacey for being awesome

I tested positive for COVID the day I had a scheduled appointment. I called them that morning and informed them as to not risk getting their staff or other patients infected. They in turn charged me for missing the appointment. After several months, we decided to give this office a second try. We made an appointment a month out so my daughters could be same the same day. We received several appointment reminders and confirmations text from them. We made arrangements with both work and school for the appointment. The day before the scheduled appointment we get a text saying now they can no longer see one the daughters due to a staffing issue. I don't understand how a facility can have an obnoxious policy for when its customers need to cancel/reschedule appointments but yet freely cancel on their customers with little to no regard of their own. No thanks. We will take our family somewhere else.

Scam !! We are new to Florida, so we googled it and found this place had good reviews. This office charges us $200 for one toothpaste and one mouth wash which can be done with a prescription, it will cost $5 co-pay. In the middle of the teeth cleaning, the lady said "Oh, your teeth need topical antibiotic", there is no mention at all it will cost $59 per tooth and insurance doesn't approve !! My dentist in California, also a personal friend told me, If my teeth truly needed antibiotics, oral medication will do, topical antibiotics won't help !! Again, oral antibiotics will only cost me a $5 co-pay. I ended up with almost a thousand-dollar bill for a simple tooth cleaning.

UNETHICAL, DISHONEST! DO NOT GO THERE! I recently changed insurance plans and had to look for a new dentist as my new plan does not cover my previous dentist who I have been seeing for at least 7 years. During my visit to Winter Springs Family Dental, I was told that I needed a deep cleaning as my gums were in terrible shape, that there were serious issues, and the numbers they recorded were mostly 4's and 5's as regards my gum receding. I was shocked as I have had cleanings done every 6 months for the past 7 years without issue. They provided me with a breakdown of cost for the deep cleaning totaling almost $1000+ I was shocked and felt the report that they provided was not accurate. As verification of my suspicions I made a cleaning appointment with my original dentist yesterday and paid out of pocket for the service. The results were in stark contrast to what I received from WSFD and there is NO NEED for any additional cleaning or otherwise. This has confirmed my assessment that WSFD are UNETHICAL and DISHONEST in their dealings. Read through the other reviews and you will see that this is a consistent practice for them - they repeatedly tell patients that a deep cleaning treatment is needed when this is not accurate.

The entire staff at Winter Springs Family Dental is very professional and efficient. Sonbol does an excellent job at cleaning your teeth and providing follow up tips for caring for your teeth! Dr. Chupp also does an excellent job at providing top quality dental care! I highly encourage everyone to visit this dentist office for all your dental care!

I normally don’t write reviews, but after reading these reviews, they confirmed my feelings about my unpleasant experience with this office. Context: I’ve never had a cavity, braces or any dental issues ever When I first visited, they did more of a consultation and not a cleaning. I was told that I need a deep clean/gum therapy. At that time it had been 6 years since I had been to a dentist yikes I know but I agreed. 4 hours and $1,000 later they sent me on my way and tried to sign me up for a treatment plan. I couldn’t afford to do that more than once so I declined. 1 year later I call back to schedule a routine cleaning and they refuse. They said they can only do a second deep cleaning that was going to cost me another 1k, so I canceled. The whole experience has been very salesy. I feel like they were trying to upsell me on everything. I was told I needed everything from a 1k deep clean to a 5k invisilign set. Cherry on the cake was a dead cockroach in my new patient gift bag. They were all kind, the office is nice. But just anticipate being “sold” if you go

The actual dental experience is fantastic. The billing department has gone down hill. Quoted a price after insurance, and then after the fisrt part of the procedure was told another 300+ bucks more is needs to be added. Paid the initial quote and advised we will wait for billing to check it. After 2nd part was told again of the additional cost. I checked with insurance and they were paid, the agreed pricing was accurate and there shouldn't be anything additional. Now to see where this goes.

Best experience ever. I came for a second opinion at the Winter Spring Family Dental office, because I have heard so many good things and all the crew were amazing. First person to talk was Jael, an amazing lady. She explained me everything , taking some extra time, even though it was almost time to close, she was so profesional and went through. She explained everything and she went the extra mile, booking a appointment for next week. We were speaking in Spanish so it was a wonderful experience. After my second opinion appointment I can only say that Dr. Joshua Chupp, Katie and Sombol they were beyond my expectations. I have an appointment for tomorrow to work on my biggest problem in my mouth. I am so happy. They helped me with some papers. They are AMAZING. God bless them all.
