The first year of the Information Technology - Network Specialist program and the first year of the Industrial Automation, Controls, and the Networking program at New Richmond are the same. Second-year students have the option to continue with the Information Technology - Network Specialist program or pursue the Industrial Automation, Controls, and Networking program.
Employers will expect you, as a graduate of the Information Technology - Network Specialist program, to be able to:
Design, configure, and implement network systems
Troubleshoot and maintain network systems
Support hardware and software needs of an organization’s end users
Communicate clearly and effectively with end users and fellow workers
Work independently and collaboratively with others
