Absolutely delicious! Was hard to choose what to get. Went with the Pad Thai and loved it. Staff were friendly and accommodating. This little place fills up quick so make reservations! Lost one star for atmosphere ONLY because they should definitely expand in size and parking!Food: 5/5
when they say hot.. they mean HOT. My mouth was burning from the berry+habanero sauce!! 5 stars overall, though food is a bit overpriced. Its $16-21 for a Chinese takeout container filled with rice, veggies and a protein. Not that much food to be honest! I might try it out again though because I like the vibe and style of the place.
Amazing food. Ordered pad thai with chicken, crab rangoon, and the basil entree. Service was very prompt- always refilling my Diet Coke before I could even think to ask. The rangoons were perfectly crispy and had delicious filling. The pad thai had moderate spice level, which was perfect for me. No complaints at all and I highly recommend coming to eat here.
My partner and I was looking for some good Asian food in the neighborhood and came across this place with 1.6k reviews and averaged 4.6 stars. With so many good reviews, we checked it out. Unfortunately, it was a very Americanized version of Asian food which was not what we were looking for. We ordered the lunch combo. I got the egg roll, with egg drop soup and entree of Subgum chow mein. The egg roll was very heavily seasoned with black pepper 1.5/5, the egg drop soup was very sweet for some reason and had clumps of eggs not silky strands like typical egg drop soup, 1/5, and the rice that came with the Subgum was very dry and hard, definitely day old rice. The chow mein itself was okay, very saucy and a little salty 2/5. My partner's lunch combo included the spring roll, ginger salad, and entree of chow mein with tofu. The ginger salad had a weird sweetness to it that we both weren't a fan of 1/5, the spring roll didn't taste of fresh herbs and the peanut sauce it came with was also weirdly sweeter than your typical hoisen sauce 1/5. Her chow mein was also a little over sauced and once again, weirdly sweet. The tofu absorbed a lot of the sauce so it was a little goopy 2/5. She had also ordered the ice thai tea and that was sweetened with condensed milk that made it very sweet as well and the tea leaves weren't steeped enough as it was very faint flavors of the tea 1/5. Overall, the flavor profile was not for us. The weird thing about many of our dishes and drinks were just the overly sweet flavor. I have a huge sweet tooth so it doesn't bother me normally, but some dishes aren't meant to be that sweet like the sweet egg drop soup. I will say the service was at least amazing though! Friendly and was prompt. We got sat down quickly and got food quickly. Just not what we want out of Asian food and not our flavor profiles. Vegetarian options: Many dishes can be made vegetarian Parking: Small parking lot so can be hard to find a spot.
Excellent restaurant with great food, a fun atmosphere, and friendly staff. The menu is very flexible so they're great at accommodating different dietary needs. I will definitely be back again soon!Food: 5/5
The food is not very different or surprising with respect to other common Chinese restaurants. The price is pretty good for portions. The place is cozy and the attention was very nice.Food: 2/5
This place is so good! I love that they have a Thai spice scale of 1-15 Everything we ordered was delicious—eggrolls, cream cheese wontons, oyster wings, sesame chicken, green curry, and basil tofu. Service was very attentive. Will definitely be back to try more things!
First time here. A Tuesday lunch was very busy, both inside and out - there was a huge to-go order being prepared. Good sign! My partner and I shared an order of veggie egg rolls, which were large and very tasty, and I had the Slayer Stir Fry with shrimp. Mildly spicy, perfect. Partner had shrimp chow mein, more in line with his spice tolerance i.e., none. The service was great despite how busy it was. Really nice to have this place in my neighborhood. Will definitely stop back to try some of the other menu items! Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options, including tofu and mock duck instead of meat. Parking: Parking lot is shared with a few other surrounding businesses
Wow. Where to start here... we walked in and it was incredibly busy - a good sign - and we waited for a bit to get a table in a small seating area. Man are we glad we waited. From walking in to walking out the staff was incredible, great service and awesome attitude. We felt like we had been regulars for years just having conversations with the staff. The food. OMG. Our family of 5 ordered the cherry curry, 2 orders of the sunrise curry, a sweet and sour chicken and a bowl of egg drop soup. The curry was impeccable, well balanced flavors coupled with exactly the right spice. My wife who doesn't do spice ordered her sunrise curry at a "zero flame" spiciness and it had no spice but so much flavor! The sweet and sour chicken was fresh, amazingly breaded and fried and was truly the best sweet and sour chicken I've ever had. I personally got the cherry curry and was apprehensive about dried cherries in a dish, but they rehydrated in the curry sauce and was an amazing balance between sweet and spicy. The egg drop soup was ordered by my youngest and honestly he hasn't shut up about it. Just amazing food. We also got the Thai iced tea and as expected it is sweet, but delicious. We wanted some of the key lime pie but they sold out, so will get it next time. Mojito cream on it? Sold. Tip: make a reservation here cause it's busy, but worth it! Vegetarian options: Very vegetarian friendly and vegan friendly Kid-friendliness: Good meals for everyone! Even the young ones. Dietary restrictions: Very mindful of restrictions including GF, V, and even uses separate fryers for gluten vs. GF dishes.
I am vegetarian and I was a bit skeptical on whether they would have vegetarian and/or vegan food in the restaurant. I decided to give it try during my lunch time. The place was very good and felt very welcoming. There are less vegetarian items available, however, they offered me to customize a vegetarian item and it was very good. I liked the taste a lot. I highly recommend this place to everybody.
