Wok Inn 1 Chinese Food

I noticed that there has not been an updated review for this Restaurant in two years. Me and the Girlfriend were looking to try something new in the area. I personally felt that a current review for this Restaurant is needed. They are still in business, therefore they can't be all that bad. Pay no attention to the online menu. When I spoke to the woman behind the counter she said it was a service they had paid for a long time ago. They no longer pay for it but the site hasn't pulled the menu. The prices at the Restaurant are a little more expensive than the web site not by a lot. On another note. I visited this Restaurant on Sunday around one in the afternoon. Freshness and service may vary. First off. Walking in the door I notice that all the furniture is definitely second hand and not in the best "looking" shape. Not a big deal to me. Second. The food appears fresh in the holding pans. Some items you can tell have been there a little longer than they should have. Just by sight alone. Third. The Woman behind the counter was patient and courteous with our indecisiveness. She allows you taste the product before you buy very nice option considering the state of some of the product. Fourth. The prices were pretty fair for the most part. Portion size to cost was spot on. Soda is a bit on the pricey side only because there are no free refills. Fifth. No serving trays that I know of. Our food was given to us in "to go" boxes. Sixth. The tables were very sticky. You can tell that they have been wiped down but not with clean sanitized water. Seventh. The food was okay. With the food sitting in the warmers, it allows the sauces on the foods to thicken up a bit I am a big fan of thicker sauces. The chow mien and the fried rice were lacking in vegetables and tasted bland. My Sesame Chicken and Lemon Chicken were so so. Flavors were great and the chicken still had some moistness to it but... they had a bit of toughness too. Food definitely wasn't hot enough by any means. Conclusion. For the price it's not horrible but not great. Freshness is definitely something that would make the value even better. Cleanliness is definitely an issue. With all that being said, I would go again.

This place is very dirty inside. Tables were sticky. Ceilings were disgusting and ambiance was horrible. The window shades were filthy and bent. The employees didn't speak a lick of English except one word sentences. The egg rolls are pre made and kept frozen until they deep fry them. And their fryers were gross and egg rolls over cooked and tasted rubbery.

I always love their food. Best chinese in my book. Even beats panda express. This is real chinese food.

Yuck yuck yuck, my husband and I had this for dinner and everything was nasty, we got the last stuff of the day and everything was just gross, never going again.

The food was good! Best Chinese.

Good value for money. Friendly service.
