Wok King Int'l Buffet

My husband and I traveled from Spokane to Kennewick for work today. We were looking for a Buffet option since we haven’t had a good buffet in a while. Based on the reviews we chose Wok King over another local Buffet. It was difficult to find pricing online. Upon arrival I ran inside to inquire about the price. The staff was pleasant and provided me the price of $19.99 per person. It was a Tuesday night. Initially, we thought we had made a good decision out of the two options we found online however, once we sat down to eat it was clear that some issues presented itself. As you will notice in the photos our booth was very dirty. It didn’t seem like this place does any deep cleaning after service to ensure a clean healthy environment. The food was equally as disappointing. While we understand Buffet food isn’t the same quality as other dine-in options, this food lacked proper temperature and it seemed to be sitting out for a while. It was nice that unlimited drinks are provided with an array or drink options. However, at this price point I expect a little better quality and care for the overall cleanliness of the location in which food being served to the public. To finish it all off I think staff noticed me taking pictures because they immediately began cleaning more than what was taking place before I began taking pictures. The last disappointment was that the server took my husbands plate from him while he was in the middle of eating off it. He literally was taking a bite of food of the plate when she said “excuse me” and removed the plate from right in front of him. Unfortunately, what we wanted to be a good experience was not that great. We wished we hadn’t spent $40 for this meal.

Awful. We came during dinner time. Options were incredibly slim and it was INCREDIBLY expensive. over $20 a person and if your child is over 11, they are charged as an adult. An entire section was left empty, nothing was being refilled, dirty dishes were in the clean section. Food all over the floors, no one cleaning tables after customers left. Entire place incredibly dirty. No one should ever eat here. How the health department hasn't shut it down is beyond me.

For $20 a person I am not impressed. While the food was hot and mostly fresh since they were very busy for Mother’s Day, none of it was very good, it was all pretty flavorless. The man stocking the buffet seemed very irritated. Slamming food into trays which caused it to spill onto the counter and then I witnessed him scooping it back into the bins to be served. That grossed me out.

There were not many choices in the food bins. A lot of empty bins. The fish was awful. The chicken tasted bad. The shrimp was overcooked and tasted old. The soda and water were good. The beef broccoli was terrible. We actually left and went to Panda. I hate giving a bad review but I would never recommend this place based on my experience. Sorry.

I came here from out of town and the food was delicious. The portions were incredible and the service was also incredible. Everyone was super nice will definitely come back and eat again.Food: 5/5

I went there for Mother’s Day, the place look good and we thought it was a good spot to eat. And said we were charged almost $300 and the food was cold bland and just plain disgusting. I asked one of the ladies if we can get a refund for my mom since she didn’t eat anything because she was so disgusted. The lady had a mouth full of food and was talking close to my face and spitting food all over my hair and face. We all completely lost our appetite and wanted to throw up after experiencing that. I went to go ask for a refund, and the lady gave me an attitude and almost didn’t give me the refund but I insisted because my mom didn’t eat any of the food. I really do not recommend this place. For a place that was packed with people. It really didn’t have any good food or good customer service, and the one experience with the lady chewing food in my face was just completely disgusting and total lack of customer service.

There's not too much competition when it comes to Chinese food in town. It's pretty much the only buffet and therefore the best one but I'm glad we have one and if you're looking for a good buffet this is what we got and I go at least once a month so I can't hate lol it's good food.Food: 4/5

This place was horrible- unattended children running around like it was some kind playground. There is nothing international about this place - bad American Chinese that has been under heat lamps for too long. Dirty tables that were empty, the soda bar was trashed, and the food service bars were littered with food scraps. If there was supposed to be seafood it wasn’t there - unless some dried out filet or some convenience store sushi is what they call seafood. The price was way overpriced for the quality lack thereof and the atmosphere was atrocious. If zero stars was an option this place would surely get it.

Okay, we went here 15 years ago and didn't like it at all! We decided to give it another try yesterday. We went for dinner at 6pm and paid $43 for two people. It wasn't worth it at all! Cold food soup with no flavor and the sushi was nothing for the price we paid for dinner there should have been more food!! There were places that were empty where they could have put more out! No crab, nothing to make it look like a dinner meal! Don't do it! Go to The Wall instead! Much better food! We won't be going back! What a waste!
