Welcome to the Wolfeboro Institute of the Arts!
Franz Haase, owner of The Folk Cellar in downtown Wolfeboro, has announced the establishment of a new 501©3 non-profit arts organization which will expand the offerings of his four year music business and serve the greater Lakes Region in all areas of the arts.
Wolfeboro Institute of the Arts is designed to explore the arts across all disciplines, including visual and literary arts, and serve as a resource for area artists and residents to develop creative skill sets that enhance their quality of life in all areas, including health, education, business and recreation.
A core value of Wolfeboro Institute of the Arts is providing opportunities that define the uniquely Lakes Region experience. Drawing from the natural assets and history of the area, WIA programs, performances and classes will help to encourage business partnerships that foster connections between the culture of the Lakes Region and art to engage and inspire.
This bold, innovative community redevelopment project will use arts, culture, creativity and the natural environment as a catalyst for community renewal. This effort, spearheaded by Wolfeboro Institute of the Arts, will function as a connective tissue that unifies a diverse range of individuals and organizations which will serve as the main artery to connect Wolfeboro and Wolfeboro Falls as a single creative cluster.
