My husband and I had been putting off getting wills for years and part of that was finding the right place to help us out. We had a great experience at Wolpert Schreiber McDonnell, Tom took great care and time answering all of our questions and made the process easy. We had drafts to review quickly and they took time to answer a few follow up questions. The whole staff was friendly, we would highly recommend them!

I can’t say enough about how positive my experience was with this firm. My mom was in a pretty brutal accident about a year ago. She was hit by a distracted driver running a red light. Her car was flipped and totaled. She survived somewhat miraculously and is doing well, but has some serious scarring and it really upended her life for a while. I initially started the process of sorting things out by calling her insurance company, but they were less than helpful. And by less than helpful, I mean: “sorry, the other driver was at fault? Not our problem.” Given the severity of the accident and my lack of knowledge about how all this needs to be handled, I figured it was best to contact an attorney. I literally googled “accident attorneys near me” and called the first five or so that popped up. Most of the attorneys I spoke with seemed to be in a rush to get through the call, but when I spoke with David Schreiber, he seemed to take a genuine interest in our situation, asked a lot of relevant questions, and made me quickly confident that he would handle the case thoroughly. I’m happy to say my instincts were right. David knew every avenue to pursue to make sure that my mom got a fair settlement. The driver that hit her had the bare minimum PA insurance which didn’t even cover the cost of the totaled car. David pursued a claim with my mom’s insurance company for an underinsured driver incident, which I honestly never would have thought of or would have any idea on how to go about. The case from accident to settlement took about a year, but that’s because David left no stone unturned in making sure my mom got a fair deal. From the start of the process, David was very up front about everything we could expect both in regard to his fees as well as the potential outcomes we might expect. Thanks again, David - you made what was a pretty traumatic event a lot less stressful to deal with for my family!
My husband and I adopted two boys from birth. After a few years, we learned that the birth family was riddled with cases of bipolar and schizophrenia. We knew then that we likely would be facing a lot of mental illness issues with our sons, and, unfortunately, that has been true. We knew that we would need at least one special needs trust, so we sought an attorney to do that. The first attorney really seemed to have everything down to a system that worked for her, but did not tailor the trusts to our needs. Similarly, the second attorney started out by mailing us someone else's trusts; that should have been a sign for us to quit working with this firm, but sadly, we did not. Twelve thousand dollars later, we still had nothing. In desperation, I thought hard about who to try next. Tom Wolpert was my hard-working study partner in law school, and suddenly it occurred to me to call him. He graduated first in a class of 500 students; I am kicking myself for not thinking of hiring Tom sooner. Although our trusts have not been finalized yet, I can say most assuredly that Tom Wolpert was the guy to call. The drafts he sent us are far more detailed than anything else we were given, and he has tailored his work to what our disabled adult sons will need. Contrary to the previous attorneys we hired, Tom is very reasonable in his charges. Had I hired Tom first, we would have saved thousands of dollars. On top of that, we finally are getting exactly what we wanted! I know a lot of parents with special needs children. I hope to cause an onslaught of requests for special needs trusts for Wolpert Schreiber McDonnell. More than anyone else, they know what they are doing! I knew this years ago when Tom and I were in law school together, and I relearned the lesson this year: Tom Wolpert is the best attorney you can hire, whatever your needs. No one is as diligent or caring as Tom.
Having Google Reviews as an outlet for my wife and me to post our thoughts and impressions about Wolpert Schreiber McDonnell PC is appreciated, since we have had such a positive experience with attorney David Schreiber and his staff. They have earned both our esteem and trust, thanks in great part to the David's honesty, integrity, intense work acumen, and his ability to provide information and explanations in simple, easy to understand notations and via verbal communications. Our case was typical, yet still very challenging for us the defendant was traveling over 20MPH over the speed limit, lost control, and hit my wife's vehicle head on, causing her severe injuries. Our primary goal was to recoup our exorbitant medical costs, which David was able to accomplish. Throughout, David sought to secure what legally was our due, without ever appearing any way other than an honest advocate for us. He never coached us in any sort of deceitful way or tried swaying us to inflate our circumstances. David always followed the letter of the law, as he methodically put this case together. David always kept us apprised of his progress throughout, and he took complete responsibility for those hospital/PT bills - so challenging to handle otherwise while trying to put our lives back together - so we didn't have to worry about when and how they would be paid. We hope to never have to go through another life's hardship like this one, but if we do - David Schreiber and his staff will undoubtedly be our legal representative. Excellent law firm!! They helped me with though the legal dealings with my motorcycle accident 2 years ago and get a pretty good settlement and get my medical bills taken care of. They are quick to respond and nothing but kind and accommodating. And they helped me with dealing with issues relating to trying to get back some belongings my ex fiance was holding on to.
