Women's Health Care

Had very high hopes that i will make this my Dr. office while being pregnant for the first time. Was told that after they receive my records it would take about week to hear back. Its been about 3 weeks and still haven't heard back! Being that this is my first pregnancy i did find a Dr. in Macon that got me in very quickly after receiving my records and was able to see my bundle of joy. However, the girls at the front desk are very helpful and friendly and i know this was out of their control!

Stacey is an amazing midwife, and I look forward to my appointments with her. She is sweet, reassuring, knowledgeable, and professional. I had such a wonderful experience when she delivered my daughter that I followed her to Women’s Healthcare for my second pregnancy. Couldn’t recommend her enough!

I am delighted to be able to comment on the care I receive at Women's Health Care. I have been with them since before my second child was born and that is a little over ten years. They are all very professional and are genuinely concerned for the patients they are honored to serve. Keep up the good work.

The scheduler is possibly a robot. Sounds super friendly while reading from a script that she does not divert from. No active listening skills, definitely no empathy & seems to know nothing outside of putting your name by a date & time. I could have said, "Oh my God, my dog just got ran over in front of me!" & she would have kept talking in that super friendly tone while never acknowledging anything I said. I really hope that she isn't a reflection of the standard of care I'll be getting from the Doctor's & nurses.

very disappointed with the way these nurse practitioners handle their patients- as i work in a podiatrist office i know how to approach a patient when they are having issues. i feel as though this office just pushes people’s issues to the side. i’ve been waiting weeks to get refills on my medications but can not due to never being able to get in contact to anyone at the office. i will call the office many times a day to only get hung up on, or transferred and then having no help from the other lines. also i was also told my nurse practitioner doesn’t have any record of my last visit when i paid a $50 copay to be told i’ll be fine- again with pushing people’s concerns underway. i will not be returning to this office.

Nurse Practitioner Barbara Orange is really sweet. She's very big on patient education and you can tell she cares about her patients. Julie Conway is another nurse practitioner that has been there for a while and is a great provider as well.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Called with an EMERGENCY on the after hours emergency number on Wednesday around 6pm for the on call nurse, left a voicemail stating the concerns and issues going on with my sister who is pregnant- never received a call back. Next day Thursday, still no call back in regards to the voicemail left. Called the front desk to complain around 3:45pm, she transfers me to the OB nurse, voicemail left, no call back. Next business day Friday still no call back. Unprofessional and absolutely not okay to ignore a patient with an emergency situation.

Well built and clean establishment. Friendly staff. Very informative nurses and great phlebotomists in the lab. Up to date technology. All around great place. I've only been there once so far and had a wonderful experience.

Love this office and staff. I've been with them for year and I've had two kids through them and they've always been kind, knowledgeable and respectful. Dr.Nguyen makes you feel at ease like you're just talking with a friend or a family member. He really listens to you and addresses the issues promptly. He's delivered two healthy babies to me through repeat c-sections with no complications. The staff is amazing too, always helping me to understand procedure. Thank y'all for being awesome! Also loveee the new Perry office. The ladies at the front desk are so sweet!

They have moved to 103 Byrd Way. With a brand new building that is beautiful.Very pretty, clean, and easy to get to. I had to change doctors at 28 weeks due to personal finances and was very nervous about the shift mid-pregnancy. From my first phone call, they have been AMAZING. They made the change effortless, I never missed an appointment, and on my first visit they took the time to get to know me, and each time I go I wish I had started going here first. Wait times are never longer than I expect them to be. From the time I walk in to the time I walk out has never been over an hour and a half. I always allot 2 hours for Doctors appointments. You never know what unexpected thing happened that might have thrown off the schedule. So far I have met Dr. Allison Wright, and Midwife Jennifer. Both were attentive, and easy to talk to. They did not rush through the appointment, and made sure all my questions and concerns had been addressed. I look forward to meeting the other doctors, I believe I will receive the same quality of care I have received from all the doctors, nurses, and lab techs.
