I like to thank Ms. Suzanne and Ms. Elena, they are heaven sent. My complicated immigration case was difficult to explain as I suffered from covert abuse with the perpetrator claiming victim. Ms. Elena came and did her evaluation which helped me, This organization provided me 2 defense attorneys for my divorce and DV restraining order cases as well. I like to appreciate Ms. Irene who fearlessly defended me and proved my innocence despite appearances. Thank you so much for committing and dedicating no less than 3 years to my personal battles and fighting like it was yours till we claimed victory under the umbrella of Truth. You are the real super hero's because you all defend the defenseless and represent the helpless. Thank you for what you do, You changed my life for good with your support.

I reached out for help because my abusive so called husband filed a appeal for a protective order and I spoke to someone once and was told I'd have representation for court and then all communications stopped. He was granted his appeal and now my life is in serious danger.  No help whatsoever. thanks for nothing.

Just like any of the legal advice it's very hard to get any real help or advice I'm going to try again and I will edit this if hopefully I don't end up in the same position I've been in in the last almost 5 years and even though the laws are clear and I'm supposed to get advocacy it seems that all anyone cares about is a protective order that well if the person won't be served on the warrant and the state will not do their job the only thing I can do is put myself in danger to try and have this person picked up on their warrant thanks a lot for providing me with the help and advocacy I reached out for and begged for constantly hopefully this time I may get a timely and knowledgeable response though I am not holding my breath

Thank you so much for your services to women in Baltimore and the surrounding areas.  To all the women who have been helped through your organization, I admire you, and I support you, and you are brave for standing up to your abusers and shielding your children.

The WLC of MD is an amazing organization. They do excellent work advocating for survivors and their children. I fully trust, believe, and support the work that they do. The staff attorneys, support staff, and all involved in the organization give their best effort at all times to ensure that survivors and their children are vigorously represented.

I have dealt with them in the past.. I gonna say this Baltimore  seem to have a network of people in the law field make you question them.  I heard horror stories  from men and women, who dealt with this organization. See Baltimore have a clickish.. attitude with their "professionals"  all in who you know. Etc. It makes it bad when u do have good lawyers.  Then the ones that could  care less.

Irene Smith is the most gifted domestic violence attorney’s I have known. She is a passionate advocate for women and children and works to protect their safety. Irene is the lowest paid attorney  in Baltimore but the hardest working. Unlike other lawyers, Irene is compassionate and uses the legal system to fight for justice without personal gain. Irene Smith is the most unprofessional attorney I have ever heard of. Many stories and recordings of False 911 calls made by this Attorney . Not only does this Law office help women who need it . They also help women lie about abuse to obtain full Custody . False 911 calls, false police reports.  False Harrassment claims are her specialty. This is completely unacceptable behavior for anyone,  let alone a "legal professional ". DISCUSTING  in every way.  Edit in response to owner responses : No I am not a client. I will never use this Law Center . I hope others follow suit. I have seen all I need to make an educated decision. In no way is anything I have said untruthful .

Irene Smith has destroyed the integrity of this organization and the work that you do!! I'm sure she has  done a lot of good throughout the years  . Still there is  excuse for some of the most disgusting behavior that I've ever seen from an attorney

I wish I would have known about the services offered by the Women’s Law Center before my divorce.  This organization is amazing and a real asset to our city.  The attornies are phenomenal!
