Criterium style road bicycle training race. All levels welcome every Tues night starting around 6pm. Weather moves the race to Wed.
The race is run on Tuesday nights at Wompatuck State Park in Hingham, MA. Registration opens at 5:30PM. Each race starts at 6:15 PM. Late arrivals can join the race in progress. A valid USA Cycling license is required to race and must be shown prior to start. A license (one-day $10 or annual $75) may be purchased on site. An annual license can also be purchased online at www.usacycling.org. All racers must follow USA Cycling rules. A 2016 rulebook can be found at http://www.usacycling.org/usa-cycling-rule-book.htm. An approved CPSC bicycle helmet must be worn at all times (Rule 1J1).
The race is open to all categories (1-5). Two fields may be run depending on the number of be¬ginner racers. The entry fee is $15 for all riders except juniors. Juniors (age 18 and under) pay $4. There are no prizes awarded for this event. The distance is 32.5 miles (25 laps).
