Newly re-done laundromat; more machines than before, but a new name Spin&Tumble; all new washers and dryers. Washers accept quarters or credit cards. Facility is nicely kept due to there being an employee at all times. Change machines are new and will change you for $20 in increments of $5. Just reopened; dryers are free for now. They don't have as much folding space as they once did, but I like the color scheme and I can still get in and out in a hour
I came in tonight at 955pm on September 25, 2022 and the lady told me i cant wash my clothes. They close at 11pm but I can't wash my clothes at 10pm. If that's the case they should lock the doors or post a sign online so people don't go and waste their time on a pointless trip. Business hours says they close at 11pm they should honor that. Owner or manager should get better employees.
Very Dirty. No customer Service. Saddens me to see this establishment take a turn for the worst. I use to wash here years ago and it was very well kept and had decent prices and most importantly CLEAN. Big washers to the right back do not work and cost 7 something... had to rewash with the front washers 5.25. There are 2 numbers posted but no answer. My mom was cleaning up, she felt bad for this once amazing business.... Also some dryer make weird noise an dont work.
A bit hard to spot when driving with the business sign. I'm used to boldly lettered laundry. Business name needs to be changed on Google maps, it's called spin & tumble laundry, not wonder wash. I like it so far, clean, free wifi, convenient with all machines accepting the tap function for cards and phones, no more quarters for me.
The Laundromat is freshly updated and is very clean and reasonably priced, everything is great as far as the facilities however the lady that works there in the evenings is a major weirdo! She's got control issues!
Its nasty, dirty and they dont clean out the lint from dryer so you have to pay more to dry. Nothing is clean nothing the picture is maybe the cleanest part of the floor in the whole place....
The best laundromat in South Gate. Usually I get the worst service when I go to any laundry facility, due to the fact that some of the employees are very rude and definitely not helpful. However at Wonder Wash it's not like that. You feel like you're at home doing laundry because you're not rushed nor given any unnecessary attitude for any of the questions you might ask. I highly suggest you check this place out. Not only for the service, but the prices are decent and the cleanliness is appreciated. At Wonder Wash you've got wonderful service that you can depend on.
The washers don’t wash properly, Clothes come out full of lint. Half the dryers don’t work properly, I kept putting money and the clothes came out still wet. Today, one machine got stuck on the rinse cycle, I called the number listed above and no answer! Finally after 2 1/2 hours the machine stopped on its own, it took a long time until I was able to open the washer since it was still full of water, I had to wash the clothes AGAIN! I was at that place longer than I should’ve and I still have not gotten a call back from anyone regarding my problem with the machine. If you have a business open on Sundays, you should also have someone available to at least respond in case of emergencies. Never going back to this place. No one should have to deal with what I dealt with today.
Clean, good machines... But way hot when I was there during the day so go at night. Also, wasn't able to use their "free wifi" no password, but "unable" to join. Bathroom could be better, it's a quarter to get in. No liners and it smells... No ventilation, super hot! On the bright side, if ur looking to loose some weight, where u gonna find a $0.25 sauna? Update: just found a password on the wall... But the network never asks for one
The hours of operation are false. The sign indicates open at 6am, but it's closer to 620am, not sure if their watch is wrong. Once inside, it's dirty looking, the dryers don't completely dry a standard load of clothes even with 4 quarters set on high. Some of the washers and dryers are out of order constantly. Good luck, you'll need it if you chose this place.
