This place looks ok from a picture point of view but it's only that. I would not recommend this place only if you cant afford somewhere else to stay. Our room smelled bad, it was falling apart and its in a corner of a busy intersection.They really need to remodel this place ASAP for it to be worth staying here.Rooms: 1/5

I stayed just one night, however. I wanted another night and I needed up getting locked out of my room when I decided to go fro breakfast. I tried the doorbell service yet no answer!. I left for about and hour and still waiting till pretty much checkout time. Where I was never able to get whack into my room. They charged me for everything and I didn’t even use the room for more than 5 hours. I was so furious that when I was promised accommodation for another room since my tv was not in service. I was denied of everything and being charged full price. This is not acceptable. I am livid at how I had to eat the remaining of my breakfast in my car: horrible service. No one to attend when hours are needed. I’ve seen so many people either trying to check out or check in or what’re but none get serviced too
Roaches in room 127! Reason I am rating a 2 is because when I was given my room key to number 127 I was greeted by a couple of roaches in the restroom, yuck! I was like ok maybe it’s just the restroom, so I then look inside the actual room and I see roaches crawling on the wall by the tv and so I was disgusted and asked for another room, at first I was only offered a refund but then the other manager came and found me another room, The new room was clean and nice I will admit but man they need to do something about the roaches in room number 127 because that was traumatic, I hate roaches!! There was also a giant wingless wasp outside our door the size of my index finger it was crazy never seen anything like it… You get what you pay for I guess I really hope they fumigate bcus I have enjoyed my stay here 2 other times with the bug less rooms. I like the prices and that the rooms have cable and good working ac. Just fumigate and you guys will earn my loyalty again
This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Lovely people, plasma TVs, and hot tubs in every room! Convenient location.Rooms: 5/5
I have not ever had a bad experience at this place until recently. I used Travelocity to book my room and all I had to pay was $5. When I check in they said I had to pay $14 for cleaning im like I paid that when I booked the room. I end up paying look for my booking and it said All I owed is $5. Went back in and showed them but the girl at the desk said oh it for city tax something I have not ever paid. I was like I never paid that or heard that and she was like do you want me to charge you for the last time you stayed. I was like oh no you are not talking to me like that. So I asked her for a receipt to show that she could not produce it showing that extra $14 charge. Just imagine how many people they are scamming for that. So beware of this place as I’m sure they will keep doing it. Won’t stay there again
We just had our one-year inspection and everything is still working perfectly. The employees are friendly and professional. Overall great experience!
The rooms are nicely newly renovated, very clean, and spacious. The beds are very comfortable. I love this place!Rooms: 5/5
I've been to Starlight Inn about 5 times in the past. My most recent visit July 14, 2022 was nothing short of anger-inducing. I specifically requested a non-smoking room with their signature blue light ceiling. These requests were made through the Agoda website, and I even personally emailed the place to remind them about these requests. So when I get to the check-in counter, this short Indian woman tells me that they only have a smoking room with no blue light ceiling. Are you KIDDING ME? I specifically requested non-smoking with the blue ceiling days ago! Cigarette smoke is also very harmful to my health, as I am highly allergic to it. No way was I going to accept a smoking room. I then said if they give me that room, I'll have to dispute it with my bank afterwards. So you know what she did? She told me that I could only pay in cash! I was furious. She should have been so lucky that I didn't go behind the counter myself to teach her a lesson! After I got done calling her out, this young Indian guy followed me out the door and recorded my license plate while giving me the middle finger. I couldn't believe it! What's he going to do with that? Just prevent me from renting at the motel again? Fine! There are thousands of other places that I can stay at. I swear, something really should happen to the people in this hotel, and if they're not careful, they will truly see star light!
