We visit WonderWorks each time we come to Branson. Our kids really enjoy all of the interactive exhibits. However on our most recent visit there were many attractions that were broken or not functioning that made it frustrating to be paying so much for such a poor experience. The first thing we always do is the 4D attraction on the first floor. However 5 of the 12 seats are out of order, so we stood in line for an hour before we were able to get in. On the game where you tap buttons on a wall as fast as you can one of the buttons does not work and in the other machine it can’t do the 2 player option. On the second floor only one roller coaster simulator was in operation so again more waiting in a long line for a long time. Several of the keys on the floor piano don’t work correctly. On the third floor one of the NASA shuttle simulator joysticks doesn’t work properly. Overall there are many exhibits that we did and still enjoyed the experience. However, for paying such a premium for each person to enter we would expect them to have a much higher percentage of attractions in good operating order.
WonderWorks is really great fun for all age groups and prefect for a family day. Tons of Interactive displays and the space exhibits on the third level were some of my favorites. I did not try the Cafe food but I did get a slushy in a crazy cup for $7.50 which was well worth it in my opinion. You can also leave and come back at any time during the day as long as you are stamped or still have your ticket.
I highly recommend this place for a day of fun. The tickets are a little pricey, but it covers everything but the 3rd floor arcade and snacks/food. You can leave any come back anytime at want within the same day, so if you need to leave for food you can come back as long as you have your ticket. The staff are nice and helpful. A lady passed out and they brought her a chair and stayed with her until they were sure everything was alright. Everything was clean and well attended. We will definitely be back!
Super fun, worth the price. We spent 6 1/2 there but left for lunch and came back. They stamp you to let you back in but also keep receipts in case it washes off. Everything was mostly clean as it can be for being an all-touch environment. Bathroom on each of the 3 floors but only one stall in the men’s. Fyi. There is elevator access and stairs. The stairs are strenuous so they are a good workout. Recommend everything there. If you are a larger adult, you will not be able to ride the rides with the kids as most have a weight limit of 250lbs.
It's a cool place for kids but there are a lot of things that are broken. Games were broken, interactive learning simulators were broken, etc. I reset one of the simulators myself and waited until it restarted so my kids could play it. Most "rides" are for taller kids, at least 48 inches or some taller requirements. The operator of the 3D movie thought it was appropriate to show the scarier dinosaur movie where dinosaurs are trying to eat you. Use some common sense about your audience. Play the more "silly" one that the others in line got to see. My kids liked other 3D movies at other places but not that. Older kids hogged a lot of the fun games so my kids were out of luck to learn anything on those. Food is overpriced like any other attraction, so we didn't eat there. Is it worth the ticket price? Maybe. Depends on how old your kids are and how much is broken.
They do a good job of mixing things together for all ages. Almost all of the exhibits were in working order. They had a couple areas that were more calm and quiet which was a nice break. Wish this location had a ropes course and a few other things we've seen at other WonderWorks. The staff was very nice. Bathrooms were clean. Getting on and off the bigger rides does take a while. You could easily spend a few hours plus here...
Awesome time for my 3yr old and husband and I! Kid was too small for some stuff but he hardly noticed plus he was free with paying adult. Only 2 negatives...came as a school group was leaving and they broke stuff and put things out of order which was super disappointing and a family that was there the same time as us didn't mind their boys who kept pushing us adults and my son out of the way, and the one kid kept throwing sand all over the floor til I said something. Otherwise great experience and glad we did it. Spent several hours enjoying it!
There is so much things to do! Perfect to keep kids and adult busy during a very too hot day or rainy day! It’s inexpensive, and really nice! There is a lot of games and Interesting things. It’s not too busy and it’s big enough so you don’t feel packed!
Came here Sunday to celebrate our last day of summer & had an amazing time! We did get in using the $15 SW Missouri deal so it was cheaper to get in than it normally would have been, but I’d gladly pay full price. Our kids range from 3-12 & there was so much for everyone to enjoy, including my husband & I. When we got there, there was no line & the place was surprisingly not busy. We rode the 360 bike which was wild! Got into the 4D motion ride with only a five minute wait. Played with bubbles, got print outs of our fingerprints, went to space & got stuck in a hurricane . All of our kids had a great time & so did my husband & myself. Will definitely come back!
This is a really fun place when it's not busy. We lucked out and visited on an off week, so we really didn't have to wait to play on any of the exhibits. I imagine it would be less fun if there was a line for everything. Staff was very friendly. Lots of hand sanitizer stations, which was great because everything is hands-on. Minus one star because several exhibits weren't functioning.
