Welcome to Wood River High School, the home of the Wolverines! Our school is proud of its long tradition of academic and athletic excellence.
Our students compete at the highest levels in all sports and activities sponsored by the Idaho Athletic and Student Activities Association.
We have exceptionally strong programs in music, drama and debate. Our students are also active members of the community and participate in numerous sports and community service opportunities.
Wood River High School has an outstanding student body that works to promote unity and solidarity among the four classes. Older students serve as role models and mentors for our younger students during their first critical year in high school. The staff takes the time to build relationships with the students and encourages them to do their very best. We also have an academic support activity called PASS that is required for students earning less than a C grade in any core class.
The opportunities here at Wood River High School are more extensive than most schools can offer. Our students also take advantage of the world class skiing and unlimited outdoor activities our community and environment provide.
