Dr. Woodard is a thoughtful and deeply knowledgeable practitioner. He has a great passion for his field. He is very easy to work with- a very gentle manner combined with strong convictions. He has helped me tremendously and I will miss him when I no longer need therapy.
Dr. Woodard is a tremendously helpful and supportive optometrist! I attended vision therapy sessions with him intermittently from July 2017 to July 2018, and he did a great job helping me correct some of the issues that I was having with my vision issues with convergence and divergence, most notably. He is very personable and always treats you as if you are someone that he wants to converse with and have as his patient. He is very knowledgeable in his field and has a lot of exercises designed to help correct issues ranging from minor vision problems to more severe visual impairments. I have found that many of these exercises have helped me out tremendously. For instance, prior to attending his sessions, I used to get headaches when I read; now, I notice that I do not, as I did his eye movement exercises. All in all, I definitely recommend him if you are in the area and are looking for vision therapy of any sort.
I've been going there for about 4-5 years about once every other year for both myself and my wire. Dr. Woodward is very helpful, takes his time and tries to answer all the questions we have.
