"We're Woodhull Travel Plaza, and we're a travel plaza here in Woodhull, IL. We believe in quality accommodations, offering restaurants, laundry, a trucker's lounge, and more! We started this business to provide travelers and the local community with a plaza housing multiple amenities. We're looking forward to growing our business and continuing to serve Woodhull and the surrounding communities; as well as travelers and truckers who are making their way through the area. Fuel pumps are all down, entrance is closed. Soft drink machine is working. Tried three different sinks to wash my hands none of the water turned on. Told guy working the counter he said ya they don't work sometimes. A place to park is for the 2 stars.
Reopened and now in the works..Lot is huge and perfect..well lit and good condition. Pumps are being worked on and I think tanks as well. Mexican. Restaurant. They are only open till 10 pm and much like other places it may be due to no help BUT TRUCKERS.. THESE ARE THE TYPE OF TRUCK STOPS WE KEEP ASKING FOR. NOT A BIG CHAIN...HELP SUPPORT THESETYPES OF PLACES IF AT ALL POSSIBLE.. once they have pumps done this is an excellent place to stop
Big lot for RV and trucks and well lite. Staff was friendly and helpful. We stopped at “chain” truck stop across the freeway and it was filthy. Bathrooms were awful so we tried this place. So much better! We have a travel trailer and spent the night. Talked to owner who welcomed us immediately. Easy on and off freeway.
I hate pilot, do yourself a favor and to the pilot instead of Woodhull! It's another foreign owned and operated, run as cheap as possible station. Only good for parking
Stopped here for gas after getting off the 80. Very clean place! Cashier was nice! Looks cleaner than most of the other travel places where you can take a shower. They have a wide selection of snacks and drinks. The place is pretty big. Good experience!
I was very excited to stop in and get real food as advertised. You know like a old school truck stop with a real restaurant. I walk up thinking about about the food that is going to be on the menu thinking of what options I'll choose from and walk thru the door.... no restaurant, all hot cases were empty, the pizza place had no food ready, and the 4 hot dogs that were on the roller grill were cold which I didn't know that when I bought them, waste of $7. Thus place has potential and maybe was awesome when it first opened, not at this point. Go to the Pilot for at least some limit food options. Seems to have a decent lot, and the 1 person at the register was friendly enough. Even though I was left with a complete disappointment, this place has potential.
Stopped at the re-opened restaurant 2 times last week. The food was decent..... service good. Prices were very reasonable. Good place to bring the kids Roomy dining room and the adjoining travel store looked clean and well stocked. This facility was closed for a few years so it's nice to see someone making a go of it!
Nice stop. Big parking , dirt lot. Not a large C store but plenty of drinks and snack to choose from. Store, bathroom and shower clean.
Well huge dissappointment there was/is no catfish. In fact no silverware, Plates, cups, and really no customer service. In fact, I wish I could tell you how bad/good the waitress is, but I can't. The restaurant is closed for the time being. So just the convenient store is open. Just up the street is dollar general where you can micro food. Seems to a quiet clean place.
Truck fuel has brand new pumps working perfectly. Looked like there was plenty of parking. Store was clean, organized and well stocked. I got a chef salad to go, and I would recommend this stop for anyone.
