A great place to relax and unwind. If you're lucky you may just spot the white duck duo. My wife doesn't mind using the restroom here. The park is clean and not too busy. Bonus disc golf course that's actually pretty fun and challenging.
Took kids there and they had so much fun fishing. There is a great playground too.
We love this park. It's a little further to drive for a park since we don't live in Lacey anymore but we love the playground and the walking trails. The bathrooms are well maintained and there is a disk golf course as well. Plenty of parking spaces and a great place to gather for all ages and enjoy a nice day or evening. If you like wildlife you can even walk the lake and take in a variety of animals!
Love this park. Has a pond. Lots of trails. Both paved and unpaved. Great for walking dogs.
Happy to see there is also a disc golf course here. Decided to try a new playground and my kids had a blast. Definitely a park we will come back to! Playground: Playground was well maintained. I liked that the toddler and big kid sections were spaced apart. Playground was by a lot of grass, which was cut nice and low. Nice view of the lake from the playground. Restrooms: Restrooms were very clean.
Sweet little park. Water access for throwing rocks and fishing.... No swimming access. Trails for walking or riding bikes/scooters/skateboards. Fun playground. Clean bathrooms. Geese! Would be a lovely spot for photos. Great covered picnic areas.
This is a wonderful, entertaining, and relaxing park! Our family met here as the location was a halfway place between 2 locations of where our family members live. It was Memorial Day Monday. We went very early to save a spot and good for us but also a surprise, not a lot of people showed up. The playplace was great for our grandson. He had a blast. The pond had families fishing and playing with RC remote control boats! Other members of the family went and played disc golf. The course was a lot of fun and challenging. There are many picnic shelters and tables. The restrooms were close by and very clean. We look forward to going back!
It was very exciting my grandson is almost two and the slides and play equipment was perfect for his age. They also have more stuff for older kids. One thing I didn't like was that they have bark for the ground so my grandson got slivers in his hand I wish that they had foam padding. We even got to see the Canadian geese.
Normally I'm a big fan of this location being a disc golf player but on this visit I saw the orange paint of lines where they were going to be doing the maintenance and trimming back of bushes and trees and grass and such thought part of a tree that was sprayed I assume that meant it was going to be trimmed through 8 discs on the driving range before I realized that that spray paint had a tiny tiny tone underneath it with hardly even legible black marker and it said wasps so I have sacrificed my discs and some loner discs because I am highly allergic to wasps if I get within 2 ft of a cone before I can read it there is no way that any child is going to be able to read it and most parents aren't going to be able to read it I would highly recommend that park and Recreation services works on making signs like that more noticeable for the public for their own safety. And my photos here adjusting my reasoning I cannot make out the writing on that cone and there isn't you can barely see the cone from where you shoot the discs from from the LaunchPad
Love this park, and all the walking options. You can stroll by the pond, or catch some steps in the Chehalis Western Trail. Best part, there are public bathrooms if you need one.
