Woodland Park

Park is nice, there's a group of picnic tables under the gazebo that's a great place to eat lunch. Also a basketball court, etc.

The park is nice and big, pretty trees and lots of open field to play in. It has multiple picnic benches and a basketball court. The playground is small and nothing special. The bearings on the large spinning ring are shot and it does not turn.

Good place as long as the homeless that comes and seem to stay other than that

Woodland Park is great for parties, cookouts, exercise, or just a fun day at a park. Woodland has a great kid's playground, walking trails, and multiple pavilions with charcoal grills. It's a fun, clean area.

This well-lit park has a baseball diamond, playground, several picnic tables and trail leading down to the Arkansas River. I would say that this is a very peaceful place near sunset when the wind dies down some. Highly recommend this place to sit down, kick back, and enjoy nature to the fullest!

The best recreational park ever!

It's a hit or miss with this park. There are some days it's very clean and the trash is dumped and then there are other days there is broken glass in a lot of places and trash on the ground and unfortunately some of the people that find themselves homeless you make this their temporary Home. I have never been bothered by anyone in the park so I am not saying that it's a nuisance or anything like that because everyone needs a place to be. It is more sad than anything, for me at least. There are a lot of homeless programs in Wichita to help people out that find themselves in this circumstance. I just have to wonder where the liaisons to these services are when I can count any number of people in this position on a daily basis. There are not many activities going on at this park nor are there very many playground items for young children to play on. The OnePlus is that it is close to the water however some areas of the path are very close to the water and when it rains the water comes up over the path so be sure to check the situation out before you let your children or other family members go wandering without your attention.

It's a park. Fields for soccer, baseball and a court for basketball. A playground with rubber turf, several picnic tables, and a covered area with a few tables as well. No bathroom. Playground is fairly close to the river so plenty of insects during warm months.

Kids had fun on all the spinning equipment and there wasn't anyone else there so they could play on what they wanted when they wanted, despite the neighborhood which really isn't bad, as some might think it is it is a quiet, clean and safe area for the kids to play.

So beautiful, clean, grass cut, material was nice and not worn. Its a cute little park for soccer, basketball, and small children.
