Always friendly wait staff and always decent food. Great for Sunday brunch with the grandparents. On the higher price of brunch but delicious none the less. They also have accommodations for those with food sensitivity such as gluten free.
I love taking my staff here for lunch. It is especially nice to have the large tables inside which allow us all to sit together. The service is usually pretty fast and friendly. They offer nice salads and can do vegan or vegetarian as well as gluten free. When I am not eating too strictly and want a pizza, they make a really good one.
Price seems to have gone up yet more. Food and service is hit and miss. Breakfast potatoes are boring and not flavorful, bacon is not crisp about half the time. "Comes with toast" is a single slice, which given the high prices feels cheap and I want the second piece that seems to be common at the vast majority of other places! . But it is a nice location and sometimes you get something better than average. Dogs can be on the patio which is a win for dog owners.
So, so happy to find a real croissant, made with real butter and soft as it should be. And they serve them a bit warm. And they did not make me sick to my stomach as all the others I have tried have. I wonder what ingredients they use to make them. Many are not made with butter so they taste bad. The croissants I have liked most of the many I have tried in the Bay Area. The coffee is pretty good.
Great service, friendly and alert. I loved the burger and the sweet potatoes fries. Even though we arrived minutes before they closed for lunch they served us with a smile and no pressure. We came back for an omelette and it was delicious as well!
Read the reviews before going and it seems like theyve taken the criticism to heart- Food was great, staff was attentive and refilling coffee frequently. Portions we're appreciable. We brought a young child and they were receptive and took good care of us. Will be back soon!
Ok so the mediocre food is pretty overpriced to begin with. I usually get the eggs benedict and I only go hear since they serve breakfast until 3pm I work nights. I live a block away and order to go every time. 5 out of 5 times my food has been COLD by the time I get to it 3 or 4 minutes after having it handed to me straight from the kitchen. Same thing with the corned beef hash. Don't know what's going on with the cooking system but I don't think quit up to standard. For the price I expect better quality!
Food is tasty but portions are of small. In some other places coffee refills are offered gladly and without having to chase the waiter. I am not sure if it is a restaurant policy or poor customer service.
Good quality and tasty food with a decent selection on the menu and a good range of drinks too. Only downside would be how long it took to get seated & served, but a busy Saturday morning brunch might not be representative of the quality of service overall!
Food varies from decent to very good, but service can be indifferent. Example: fairly empty restaurant.'Pancakes came with no butter. I asked for some. Longtime employed by waiter said sure but did not bring and went on to another table. Had to get up and get help from kitchen finally. Later, no coffee refills, despite several attempts to signal to same waiter. I am a pretty easy customer and a good tipper, so I can count on one hand the times I have found service anywhere truly annoying. Woodlands Cafe makes that ignoble list.
