Woodring Branch Campground Carter's Lake, Gate Attendent

Was a camp host there, great place to camp lots of friendly people come here and it was great to work with the staff and the customers nice facility's and beach. Lots of shade and a cool breeze off of the lake on most days the road down to the camp ground is very whindy and people tend to drive in the middle of the road so be careful driving in to campground Playground: Small but nice playground for the kids Restrooms: New restrooms with showers

Beautiful place, very friendly staff! Don’t give them 5 stars because the bathrooms aren’t clean and they are unisex - so men and women use the same bath and toilets, it creates some chaos - but other than that- the place is amazing!!

We loved going camping at the gated campground bathhouse, laundry room, a playground and a beach area! We will definitely be going back

Great place for camping or glamping. All the amenities for glamping available. Beautiful lake for boating or kayaking.

Beautiful place, friendly staff! The 4 stars is because the bathrooms could be a bit cleaner - also the fact that are unisex doesn’t help. All the sites have lake view - There is a small beach - the water is clean - the sunsets are gorgeous

This is by far my favorite COE Campground. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. The sites are big and well spaced. It's a small Campground so there isn't much traffic. Be aware that the road going into and out of the Campground is very steep. Playground: Nice small playground padded by sand. Dog-friendliness: Very dog friendly but no special amenities for dogs.

Woodring is my absolute favorite camping spot. Carter's Lake is so clear and clean. It's worth the drive even if you don't live close by.

We love camping there because its on the lake, we can take the boat. We also like the fact its not far home, so we can check on the fur babies.

Beautiful campground. Changed a lot , we been coming here since 1996 Playground: Small playground has sand , slide, a couple climbing things Restrooms: Brand new bathrooms, there is 4 total, each of them has the toilet, sink in one area then half wall with the shower all in one room. Could be cleaner at times but you know how some folks are. Don't take care of any thing. They need a host here you can apply online. Dog-friendliness: Yes dog friendly but has to be on leash while walking and tied up on site. Picnic area: There pinic areas you can use as a day use. Pinic table, grill and fire pit on each site..

Had a wonderful time camping. Kayaked, fished and hung out with friends. Restrooms: Restrooms were just okay.
