Woods Canyon Lake is a full service convenience store offering groceries, sodas, beer, tackle, bait, camping, fishing licenses, and kayak/boat rentals. Opening and closing of our season is dependent on our snowfall. We are always open by May 1st and stay open until Oct. 31st. Weather permitting we open early and stay late. Over the last decade we have typically opened around April 15th and closed around Nov. 15. The store offers everything to meet your camping and fishing needs including boat/kayak rentals. We offer boat rentals starting each day at 7 am. Boat rental prices are 4 hrs. or less
$45 plus tax and all day (7 am till 5:30 pm) $80 plus tax. You must be at least 18 yrs. old to rent a boat. Kayak rentals are $15 per hr. for singles and tandems $25 per hr. All rentals require a deposit of $85 Cash, Visa, or MC for a motor boat or $50 for a kayak. The store does not have an ATM therefore we cannot give cash back, but we can accept Visa or M/C as payment for any purchases. We are not responsible for the campgrounds. You can notify them to make your reservations.
