Woodstock Library

Conference room is great for studying! Shout out to them I got to learn a little Japanese because of one of their books I rented! Sucks sometimes the Library room can be noisy…

Call me old fashioned but I come to the library to find a quite place to study. The problem that I gave with this library is that every time I come here it’s loud and when you ask people to keep it down they look at you like you have to faces or are speaking a different language. The staff is very friendly but they just let people be loud and I always have to leave because of it!!!

This has been our family's library for the past 11 years & my wife, son, and daughter have been patrons even longer. Woodstock library is filled with librarians who are helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and love what they do! The library has semi-annual book sales, colouring groups, jewelry groups, a quilting club, books clubs for various ages, a computer lab with internet, private tutoring/study rooms, access to printing and faxing, storytime, teen events, family game night, rotating displays, even a fireplace. There's never a shortage of activities at #WoodstockPublicLibrary! Surprisingly, no I haven't mentioned a single book because there is no shortage; adult, youth, children's floor!! Additionally they carry DVDs, puppet-time packs, family passes, voting registration g, voting for our county, and there is never a shortage of information or help. Just visit with a smile and support you local #library! Don't forget, just as the library donates to the enrichment of our community, let's enrich our library by dropping lose change or a dollar in the donation box at the checkout desk by the exit. Our community reflects what we invest in it and we for one do NOT want to point at a strip and say that's where the best library in Cherokee County used to stand.

This is the loudest library I have ever been too. Metal cart that sounds like it has square wheels is pushed around to return books and a loud vibrating noise on the NE side of the building that started a 11am and ran for at least an hour. It was so loud I had a hard time listening to my online class with my ear buds.

Staff is wonderful but the interior needs some help desperately. Very dated. The easy chairs are small, the trim and wall paint is drab and the lighting looks like its from the victorian era. Please ask for some interior updating funding to make it more warm and inviting. Love the small private study rooms for extra concentration.

It’s a small library and they don’t have a lot in their collection but it’s quiet and the people are friendly.

They have so much more than books! You can check out Board games, puzzles, and even Vinyl Records. They also have art kits for the kids to take home. We adore this Library and it's staff. We request books on-line weekly, and they have them waiting for us within days.
