Woodstock Square

We were there for the Tuesday Farmer's Market. The Farmer's Market wraps around the park area in the city Square. They had a nice variety of booths and two different live musicians in the square.one followed the other. Both were very entertaining and good singers.after eating and shopping on the square we sat listened for a while. It was a pleasant morning.

Walking around the square was a good experience. They have a nice park with a gazebo that is used for various purposes. There are a variety of business in the square, and a historic opera house. This is where the movie "Groundhog Day was filmed, and there is a walk way dedicated to the movie. We had a very time for our first time visiting!

It's a beautiful place to hang out. A wide variety of unique shops and food for a variety of tastes. We visit here frequently but were here for the Pride fest. Went to the Food Truck festival 25 food trucks....some did a great job some others had their order numbering system not well thought out...but still great food all around

It was the largest turnout that I have ever seen for the lighting of the square. Dawn and I would like to thank everyone that came up to the gazebo to visit us. Cheers to everyone to a great Christmas Season!

Went to the Christmas lighting of the square last night. We used to live here many years ago and this was always a beautiful time. Unfortunately, last night was a huge let-down. Starting out with 20 minutes of almost ten different people talking on the mic about this “time-honored tradition” followed by a lack-luster light display. Either the organizers don’t care any more or there is no where near the budget it used to be. It used to be so much better! I would give the lighting a single star on its own. The extra star is because the Woodstock Square is still one of the more charming places in Illinois.

The square is a great place. We took our grandson here for Halloween. What a fun time. Walking the neighborhoods around the square after all the fun on the square was awesome. Some really cool homes. Updated 8/26. My wife and I went to the farmers market. If you have been you should go. The live music and all the vendors makes for a fun way to spend a little time.

A quaint &relaxing day in Woodstock Square. The Halloween /Food truck rally was afoot. My stop was @3:30, & things were revving down for the day. The architecture was rewarding, and the square has a "cool" vibe - very relaxing Many new remodels and eclectic stores exist in this "old school"; town center. I plan to return .
