I love the Reuben sandwiches they have. They have honey oat and chocolate chip bars that I call the evil bar and they are very good. Most of the time you can't finish them because they are so sweet and the brownies are great. They make great sandwiches.
Why doesn’t this place exist in Arizona?! My buddy bought me the sweet and tasty oat bars, and they are sugary and wonderful and covered in chocolate chips. Our family devoured them. They also have other fresh baked goodies, and randomly had pretty dang good biscuits and gravy! Would have loved to try their breakfast sandwiches but didn’t have room in my belly. Great soda and drink collection, clean bathrooms and they even have slot machines if that suits your fancy. Also, I know it seems random but their window cleaner squeegee things are in great condition!
Traveling through and stopped here for fuel not knowing there was a restaurant and bar as well . Food was great , beer was cold and service was great!! Cool atmosphere!
Your deli workers just made us some hotdogs and none of the hot dogs were cooked at all that is not the service anyone looks for and you need to keep you staff on it when people are waiting to order food they just ignore the customers and they standing around being slow af.
Quick sandwich, coffee, bathroom break, fill-up, and back on the road!
Rude & grumpy woman working the cash register. Couldn’t even be bothered to return a thank you with a “youre welcome”
I love the sandwich deli! I live in Lakeside, but I'll travel north of Creston to order one of the best sandwiches in the valley!
I like this place a lot. They're clean and they do a good job of taking care of whatever you need, and whoever cooks their brownies does an absolutely AMAZING job! I only had two issues here, and one of them can't be helped-- first, they need a bigger casino, maybe acquire five or so more machines, and second was the mosquitoes-- they are big enough to carry off a mid-sized car with four adults in it, they are terribly bloodthirsty, and there are BILLIONS of them might have to go get checked for anemia after this one! Other than those two issues, Woody's is a lovely place to spend a while. The atmosphere is homey without being grubby, and it's been remodeled beautifully the bathrooms are the best I've seen around here. I'll definitely be going back!
Kinda off the beaten path but awesome food and great service
Been around for a long time with some amazing poor boy sandwiches. Kinda pricey and they used to be even better but given my upcoming issue to be mentioned they've gone just a little downhill while the price continues to rise. The bar side seems comfortable and friendly and. They do make some good hot food as well bar type food The staff on the store side has always been fun, friendly and community centered my growing up but anymore they're absolutely indifferent and can take awhile to even get them to the counter. The males seem to be a bit better, as do any of the younger workers I've seen there My biggest negative comment can be seen everywhere form their gas to in store product. Expensive. Some things way overpriced. I get he needs to make money but it's to the point of simple stinginess. Same.woth the poorboys. I've seen him ream out an employee for putting just 1 too many pieces of pepperoni on a poorboy. An EXPENSIVE poorboy. Meat quantity has gone down, etc. Also please watch your expiration dates. Have gotten everything from year expired nasty hard shell tacos to even old heavy duty batteries that were so old they were already dead. I still go there, and am OVERALL happy with my visits so as not to drive to town and still love the flavor of the poorboys but I do wish they'd get back to on par with what they used to be.
