An experience. A place. A passion. The Worcester Center for Crafts is about sustaining craft as vital. Join us! [Gallery Store hrs: T-Sa, 10-5]
The Worcester Center for Crafts is one of Worcester’s oldest cultural institutions and was one of the first organizations of its kind in the United States. Founded in 1856 as the Worcester Employment Society, the Center provided women with the skills needed to make and sell handcrafts.
Today, the Worcester Center for Crafts continues this tradition by providing a warm, accessible environment for an artistic community of all ages and peoples to find a means of expression through craft classes, exhibits, and events. This drive has been the heartbeat of the Center for 156 years. We hope you will join us to experience the wonder of craft.
Worcester Center for Crafts is committed to providing quality craft education, supporting entrepreneurship in the arts, and promoting an appreciation for fine craft.
