World Gym was founded in 1976 by Joe Gold during the glory days of Muscle Beach in Venice, California. Joe blazed a trail followed later by the likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Lou Ferrigno, and Dave Draper to name just a few - many of whom still have significant and intimate connections to World Gym. Since that time, World Gym has evolved into an internationally recognized brand, with locations everywhere from the USA,to Russia, Mexico,Australia, Taiwan, India, and even Egypt ... and now we're coming to Toronto! Our facility at 1455 McCowan Road, in Scarborough is set to open it's doors this January, 2014...just in time for those New Year's resolution goals and World Gym Scarborough wants to help you meet and exceed each and every one of them!
