"Wright's Flowers and Gifts was established in 1948. Ken & Jeanne Huff, former owners of the store, were Master Florist Managers obtaining that designation from FTD. After 50 years, Ken & Jeanne decided to hang up their owners hats. On January 1st, 2020 Ryan and Joanna Huff, are now the proud owners of Wright's Flowers and Gifts. Continuing the high standards and warm customer service for years to come."

Wrights did our flowers for our October 9th wedding and they were absolutely gorgeous! There is nothing better than the smell of a fresh flower bouquet! They provided vases for all of the bouquets which we were able to then add as additional table decor after the ceremony. I will gladly do business with them again for any occasion I will need flowers for! Thank you so much Wrights!
I just purchased a floral arrangement for my fiancé for his birthday. I’m unable to celebrate with him due to COVID. My order cost $75 plus fees, which came to $90. I always have floral arrangements created for family and friends. This was my first time using this florist. I’m very disappointed with the final product. I asked for a full arrangement with lots of flowers. I asked for red, yellow, orange flowers, and those tall sticks. I didn’t see one red flower or a stick and there was a lot of green fillers. Several of the flowers that were used have not bloomed. When I called the owner, Ryan/Brian to express concerns, he stated that they do that so that flowers last longer. I completely get that, but as a consumer giving this as a gift you want the element of a “Wow” factor and this wasn’t it. The owner/florist should want that, as well. I let the owner know that if I had known that they were using several flowers/buds that hadn’t bloomed, I would have paid extra to add more flowers that were open and full, so that it would offset the ones that weren’t bloomed and the first impression would have been “WOW!” My fiancé said that he liked them. He doesn’t know flowers and was just happy with the gesture…and of course I’m not going to express my distaste for them on his birthday, but as someone who knows beautiful arrangements… I would have expected more. The owner told me to wait a few days to see how they are and then we can talk.. That’s fine, but his birthday is today not in a few days! The last question I asked him, was if he saw the arrangement leave the shop, and he replied, “yes.” To me, that says it all. Also, when I was explaining my concerns, he asked in a very condescending way, “So, why are you calling?” I’m not sure what he was implying, but what I would have liked is for an owner with a customer- centered approach, a better personality, and for the arrangement that I paid for to have flowers that were fully open, and all the colors I requested, so that the beauty was there upon arrival. Also, the card with the special message has a misspelled word. One of the sentences is supposed to say… Here is a special gift for you… and instead it says… “here is a special “give” for you…. Ughh!!! I gave them a single star because I ordered the day before and they were able to deliver next day. My tip for those considering this florist is to check all reviews including facebook. Also, be very specific; maybe show them a picture and request to see the final arrangement via text or email before it is sent out. I usually don’t need to do that, but if you are like me and order arrangements frequently and know what quality looks like, please take notice to my advice. I will not be ordering from them again. Correction.. there seems to be a few sticks, but not placed in a way that shows any level of creative design quality. Though I found no gladiolus on Wright's website, I called and they confirmed they had them and would I like to add an array of flowers to the bouquet. The arrangement is beautiful, the delivery timely, and wonderful customer service. I am very pleased with my experience at Wright's Flowers.
We loved our wedding flowers! The groom and I didn't have a vision for what we wanted going in, and Ryan was able to help us find the perfect arrangements. I would recommend Wright's Flowers & Gifts to anyone looking for wedding flowers in the Michigan City area.

The girl at right flowers was great. She was very knowledgeable and so kind. In your moment of grief it's nice to able to get the things you need done and feel very good about it and that's especially what happened with our experience. I prefer to go directly to Wright's Flower shop
I received lovely floral arrangements from your store on Sat. before Easter & again, Mother's Day. My Easter arrangement lasted almost 2 wks.and now, the Mother's Day piece is going strong after almost 1wk. Your flowers are fresh & beautifully arranged. Thank you. You are a great florist to do business with. We will recommend you whenever we can.
Wright's flowers did the floral arrangements for our wedding day. They were definitely beautiful!! However, they just were not exactly what I had discussed with the florist, nor what I pictured. Him and I had talked about my bouquet being white flowers with a lot of greenery overflowing, with the bridesmaids' being pink flowers with greenery. When we arrived at the venue, my bouquet looked exactly like the bridesmaids', only larger. There were pink, white, and some green in them. Again, it was pretty, just not what I had wanted. The florist was also somewhat difficult to communicate with, and he was not good at responding to emails. When we first spoke on the phone, he even told me that he was "panicking" for our wedding... I guess it was a later start than when he usually does weddings. Our wedding was in mid-June, and that first phone call with him was in mid-March, so I was surprised to hear him say that he was panicking... also not the best thing to say to a bride! Overall, the flowers were pretty and all arrived on time the day of the wedding, but they were just not exactly what the florist and I had discussed, and the communication wasn't great.
I ordered flowers for a special brother in laws funeral. Wanted something to stand out. Picked it out of a book with a patriotic theme because he served in the Marine's! When I walked in to the funeral home was proud to see an arrangement just like the picture. To my surprise I found out it was from another florist and from someone else. Mine was sitting next to it nothing like the picture. No ribbon and sad looking. I was very disappointed and got the name of the other florist for future purchases.
