An Impressionist artist from Shanghai, China living in the 21st century. Despite modern art trends, Zhong-Yi Wu has developed his classic art in a period in which it is considered a lost skill. His art pushes the boundaries of what we consider the norm for art today, in which we can begin to regard him as sort of an avant-garde artist. Having over 40 years of art experience, Wu specializes in watercolor, oil paintings, and pastel and charcoal sketches. With a primary expertise in landscapes, Wu has become famous throughout Staten Island through his portraits that seem to bring pictures to life through charcoal.
