Just wanted to discuss my delivery experience. I moved here from nyc and was nervous about where to deliver. I ended up having such a great experience with literally every staff member I interacted with from start to finish. Nurses, both pediatric and labor and delivery, were kind, warm and helpful. Both night and day staff were great. I felt like my needs were met but at the same time nothing was pushed on me. Never felt rushed or unheard and I never felt like staff was too busy to prioritize my needs. Nursing and lactation staff also provided me with great guidance in terms of breast feeding, and managed to do so with being pushy or overbearing. Wanted to leave a review in case other mommas are interesting in delivering here.
The staff was great the entire time I was there having my procedure especially the sweet lady doing pre op for my arrival. Every step of the way I informed. Everyone told me their name and position. I can't remember the lady name that helped me post op but she didn't leave my side and her tone was so calming. 10/10
Excellent communication throughout my surgery. All nurses, admin, anesthesiologists, pre op and post op personnel friendly, competent and reassuring. Very smooth process and i felt comfortable through the whole experience. Status board could be kept a bit more up to real time. Thanks to your whole organization for easing my ordeal.
I was a patient at the Cardiac procedure unit - my pre op team of Angie, Tammie &Danielle were outstanding- their caring & professional manor removed any anxiety and apprehension I had. They made me feel welcomed & relaxed. Their personalized approach was continued through to my post op attendant Amanda . I was impressed with my entire experience, and commend the entire staff’s enthusiasm & commitment - Thank You
All the people I encountered before, during, and after my procedure were so very caring, helpful, and professional. I want to especially thank Tandy who worked with me before my procedure and Diana who helped me so much during recovery. I am very impressed with and thankful to all the staff who I met while in their care at Rockledge Regional Medical Center. Thank You All.
EDIT: the comment they left below asking me to reach out is worthless. I have reached out twice since then and heard absolutely nothing stay away. While the nursing care I received while giving birth was top notch, the billing is downright FRAUDULENT. They charged me for FOUR rooms labor room, recovery room, specialty room, and private room, when I was only ever in two places. I disputed the bill and it was found to be valid and that a new bill would be sent, but then they changed their mind and I was told my dispute was not valid. Not worth the hassle. Stay away and deliver elsewhere if possible!!
ER staff aren’t caring and they have no respect for HIPAA. They will ask for confidential information such as your SSN out loud at the front desk. The bathroom had urine on the floor, and after I was given a shot, I wasn’t even given a bandage although I was bleeding. Not to mention the nurse cussing up a storm and the patients and their families hearing it. As many ERs I’ve been a patient at, this makes one of the worst and I will not go back or recommend anyone to go from my family and friends.
First, the care you receive, once you are admitted to the hospital is the best I have ever received in any hospital. Several members of my family have been patients and we all agree that the staff---from medical to supporting staff---is extraordinary. This review would have received five stars, were it not for the different experience we found in the ER. Unfortunately, at a time when one is likely to be at one's most vulnerable, in pain and perhaps in real jeopardy, not everyone there, including those with power, is able to show even a little grace, let alone compassion. My advice is to bring support with you to the ER.
Everyone they took care of me was fantastic. Specially, my afternoon nurse, LV or something like that I can’t remember but she was a riot. We had a good time. She made everything much better.
My adult son came thru ER receiving compassionate care, in spite being without health insurance. He was admitted receiving excellent care. As his mom, here in Michigan, everyone I've spoken with has been so helpful and kind.
