This has been my favorite Korean restaurant for many years now. They are a family run business using family recipes they make themselves. They are lovely and helpful and always very attentive and kind. Things have changed a little here and there, but it remains absolutely fantastic. Parking: The parking lot is very small. We usually go during off-peak hours.
We went on a quiet Wednesday evening and was promptly greeted and seated. Interior looks pretty young with neon signs and postera/traditional korean decor. We ordered 3 appetizers: corn cheese, spicy rice cakes and kimchi pancake! I think the kimchi pancake was definitely my favorite great flavor and we'll cooked. We ordered the combo E which serves 4 people but. Would easily be for 5-6 depending on how hungry people are. It came with both marinated pork/beef, pork belly, beef brisket, LA Galbi and sirloin. It was a lot more than I was expecting and honestly was perfect amount of food for 7 hungry guys! I was pleasantly surprised with the meat quality. The restaurant is not all you can eat, I was expecting it to not be portioned well, but it was! All on all: 3 apps, and kbbq that's "supposed" to serve 4 was more than enough for 7 hungry young dudes and meat quality was great! We spent about $34 each! I'm surprised they don't have more guests. I definitely recommend this spot over Baekjeong if you don't wanna wait or pay way too much. Even better than Arirang since the quality isn't that great because of the ayce aspect. Overall, great clean environment, the service was great, they even helped cooked all the meat and portioned it for us and refilled our side dishes promptly! Come check out Wuju Kbbq!
Good place for kbbq. They were able to accommodate our party of 10 with same day dinner reservations. I dont eat meat but there were plenty of other options for me. And I got full! Casual atmosphere.
The only reasons not giving a five star are the veggie sides were sparse and that there is no vibe like a popular k bbq restaurant. Otherwise great service and good quality meats. Check out the drink menus, they got a good variety of sujus and korean/ japanese beers!Food: 4/5
First time eating here and it was amazing! My friends and I ordered a combo and it was delicious! The staff were very helpful and taught us better ways to grill the meat and were always there to help us with anything we needed! Highly recommend coming here for delicious kbbq!
I went here with my friends for the first time and I was immediately impressed. The portions are huge! We ordered Combo F and we were able to feed all of us easily with leftovers. It's way better than any other KBBQ places like Baekjeong because the price per person is so much cheaper here. The meat was marinated perfectly and it had a great flavor as well. The service was great, and the owners are really nice people! Overall, Wuju Korean BBQ is a great place to get KBBQ with friends or family. Five stars! Highly recommended.
My little brother wanted Korean BBQ for his birthday dinner so we decided to try this place out. We had a large party and it’s usually hard to find a place with enough room but WuJu KBBQ accommodated well. First of the food was amazing. We over ordered for sure but that was because we didn’t know the size would be so large. We ordered the WuJu Family combo and it was huge. The meat was tasty the sides dishes were great. I loved the fact if came with tofu stew as well as rice. We also ordered a chive pancake, seafood pancake, and corn cheese. Everything was a hit. The service was great. They were attentive. They would refill our side dishes as soon as they looked low. They helped cook our meat and kept the dishes coming. At some point they must of heard us mention something about a birthday without us realizing it because they came out and gave him ice cream with a candle. It was a great way to end a delicious meal. Honestly can’t wait to make this my new go to restaurant.
Authentic Korean BBQ and Staffs are nice and kind. Need Reservation if you want to come. 1. Meat quality was great. 2. a variety of side dishes 3. Nice and kind staffs with great customer services although they are really busy. 4. I recommend Special Combo for Meat eater. You can eat a diverse of meats and the tasty is savory. I want to go there again.
This was the first time going back after the Covid lockdown. This place used to have such great food and service. However, this time the service was slow, with the waitresses constantly apologizing to customers for the delays. The sides were very disappointing: kimchee did not taste like kimchee, and all the vegetable sides were under-seasoned and bland. We ordered Seollungtang, but the broth tasted like water. Both the kimchee stir-fry with spicy pork and the squid stir-fry tasted okay but it was done Chinese style, not Korean style. We asked the server why there was no kimchee in the kimchee stir-fry, and she said it was kimchee-flavored stir-fry with some cabbage very little… it had more onions than cabbage. The waitresses were obviously new and inexperienced so it was not their fault, and we could see that they were trying their best. Outside the restaurant were signs for hire for servers, dishwashers and cooks. They definitely need a new cook for sure. We did not try the BBQ this time so I cannot vouch for the quality or taste of the BBQ, but the regular menu options and sides were quite disappointing. We will wait for better reviews before returning back.
This was my first experience with Korean BBQ believe it or not. I loved it! We has the combo for four. Man, that's a lot of meat! Definitely a meat lovers paradise. My husband Will definitely go again. Parking: Parking right outside the door. Wheelchair accessibility: I believe that wheelchairs can be accommodated, but it may be tight
