Prolonged service just to see a doctor, to be waiting hours on end, whenever you call: nobody picks up!! Trying to get a closer appointment is ridiculous and the Big black desk lady in the front always have a damn attitude for no reason knowing everyone who goes to this clinic comes from different areas in Brooklyn. Just to try to speak to the patient advocate to get information is ridiculous because they never pick up the damn phone! I'm changing my children's doctor and hospital services to Maimonides: WAY BETTER SERVICES AND ACCOMMODATION FOR ALL PATIENTS.
This has got to be one of the worst places to see a provider. They are constantly overbooked and treat humans like we don't matter not to mention our babies. The Staff lacks empathy and professionalism. They lack efficiency and do not care enough to upgrade their procedures on how to intake and properly organize scheduling for parents.
I have been coming to this place for 12 years 2day I was faced with the rudest front desk lady/boy ..I was early for my appointment & from the get go she was like oh you have a appointment but this is not the time you early so I try to explain 2 her why I’m early let me tell you who ever is hiring at this place screen them ppl & teach them how to speak to customers!! This place use to be good now they running a circus
I see now why this place has 2 stars. It’s my first time rating this place. I should rated it before because there is not doubt this place is a mess. I Take my son to this place because he was born there and the process to make an appointment is terrible and take a very long time. How can be possible that they never pick the phone up when people call? Front desk staffs are terrible. They don’t know anything on how to treat patients. Very rude and unprofessional which I think doesn’t send a good message about Wyckoff. I have to wait two months to make an appointment because it is full already. It’s outrageous and exaggerated that people have to wait for such a long time to see a Dr. You should do better because you are a health organization where people go to seek medical care. Be more efficient and professional.
WORST PEDIATRIC CLINIC. Never answer their phones. It takes months to get an appointment! The waiting lines are crazy long even if they have 3 or 4 staff in the front desks. Would not recommend this doctor clinic for your child weather its for walk-in or scheduling for any matter.
I love Dr deepta lamichane and Eleanor prowell whom left both did amazing work with my children. My only concern is how no one picks up a phone and it rings endless or they "book up" making you wait 2 mnths and your child could have an emergency and no one to speak to! Something needs to be fixed IMMEDIATELY!UNEXCEPTABLE!
I give to 1 star because I have to appointment 2:45pm I went there 3pm coz heavy traffic problems . I excuse about late but They don’t accept my appointment , they make another schedule because l late 15 min , & I saw there people wait for 45 min who came on appointment time I don’t No what kind of service they provide
I don’t like the fact that they have students using our babies as practice. My 2 month old baby went for his shot and had a young man giving my baby his shot with no supervision at all. How we know if is the right dose or medicine. Also this young man didn’t even put pressure on my baby leg and put the bandage over the blood. Smh. I just don’t like it now and considering changing my baby doctor back to NY presbyterian. I don’t feel is right having students being unsupervised with the babies especially giving them the 1st shot.! Also the only way to post I have to give u guys a one star smh. In order to post.
Edit: I gave this clinic another chance, because it was closer and I just need routine care for my child. The wait wasn’t too bad, but the care was definitely an upgrade, from my previous visits with my child. They were very accommodating and attentive to my needs for my child and provided the service that I expect from all clinics and hospital. The receptionist were friendly and sweet. They kept my child engaged in convo as they made the next appointmentsmy child really hate clinics and get quite anxiousThe Doctor my child seen was very attentive and thorough throughout the visit. He made my child feel comfortable and made it easy for my child to speak to himDr. Cho So shoutout to the upgrade in service, and thank God they have new receptionist. The receptionist we saw was an African American male of a Stocky stature. Very sweet and professional. The wait is ridiculous, the receptionists are beyond rude and unprofessional, hard to get an appointment at a reasonable date, no matter the urgency. This place is the absolute worst. There was an older dark skinned Spanish speaking lady with a very short haircut like a man’s cut at the reception desk that was the rudest person I have ever come in contact with. I thought she was having a bad day until 2 visits after I knew it was her character to be that uncaring and rude. Why would you have someone like that as a receptionist. Will never go back there with my child.
So…. My daughter just recently had an appointment this past week & her doctor said she will need medicine and she would send it to my pharmacy same day. I went to my pharmacy & it was not sent I’ve been calling for 2 days non stop and I can not get in touch with anyone about my child’s medicine. I don’t know why no one is picking up & it’s honestly frustrating as a parent who has a sick child and can’t get the proper help needed to fix a simple situation. But looking at all the reviews I see that I am not the only one dealing with phones not being answered. Do better WYCOFF pediatric care center it’s not that hard to pick up a phone & multitask incoming patients it’s no excuse!!
