Last week I needed my tire replaced asap and this was the closest gas station. On such short notice, I didn’t think the mechanics would be able to help but they acted fast and helped me back on the road! They were very kind and communicative. I appreciate their help and couldn’t thank them enough!!
On my way to visit some gravely ill friends, my car broke down in a place I was completely unfamiliar with and this service station was the first I encountered. The mechanic immediately took the time to assist and worked relentlessly to figure out the problem, even staying late and taking it upon himself to drive to other shops to find the part I needed. Even after the repair was complete, he offered to follow us for a significant period on the interstate until his home exit in order to ensure our safety. I am very thankful to have found such a kind, helpful and persistent person in the middle of a city I didn’t know and a pandemic that has us all a bit nervous. Thank you!!

This place was literally a life saver for our trip. The ball bearings went out on our driver side wheel. The owner took us in, got the part ordered and the car repaired in one hour. I can’t thank them enough for their service and care!!!
There is not much "service" at the Wykagyl Service station. I have been to this station over the years for only basic needs but recently had such an unpleasant experience that I will not frequent it again anytime soon. The staff, the owner/manager in particular, I found to be extremely dismissive and unhelpful. I believe their lack luster attitude is due to their being the only gas station in the North end of New Rochelle. While I like to support neighborhood businesses I will be driving the additional miles to downtown New Rochelle or Eastchester to have my car service needs addressed.
Owner is super honest and super cool, he's been helping my family out since the days of a rowdy Camry who's exhaust fell off a few years ago and needed almost all bushings/engine mounts replaced to installing custom rims and helping me with random mods on my new Crosstrek Even if they can be busy and it might take all day, they will always tell you when they're swamped out and check up with you after the work is done, unlike other shops that might lie and then leave you waiting all day, or simply just forget to call you when the work is finished
This is a great business. Reliable, friendly, honest, and quick.
