WYMAR Federal Credit Union, a member-owned financial institution established in 1958, has over 4,000 members and is $100 million in assets. Our only field of membership (or Select Employee Group) consists of the BASF-Geismar Site employees and their families. The BASF Corporation is the world’s leading chemical company; and their Geismar site is the largest BASF manufacturing site in North America, which manufactures basic and specialty chemicals, intermediates and fiber polyurethanes.
