The owner, Del Wynne grew up with cherished memories of fun times at family/friends' lakefront homes in Georgia so made her dream a reality in 1989. Since then, along with her fondness for hosting events, Del has opened her Lake Anna place in an idyllic wooded setting in a quiet cove to friends and family.
After expansion of her home in recent years, Del has been able to more formally host a plethora of gatherings such as milestone celebrations including birthday and retirement, and a bridal shower.
If any of you need a zen-like place in a peaceful setting with family/friends/coworkers, this is the place. The house sleeps 8-11 people with 3.5 bathrooms.
Amenities include:
- swimming area with a private dock
- use of kayaks (with small fee) and paddleboat
- screened porch
- fireplace and bonfire area
- a fully equipped kitchen
- access to satellite internet and TV
- plenty of niches and crannies to escape to.
Nearby activities/places of interest include the nearby Lake Anna Winery- one of many Virginia wineries, Lake Anna State Park, and tours of Civil War battlefields. Golf enthusiasts will be happy with some of the country's greatest golfing. And there is the Kings Dominion Adventure Park half hour away. If you choose to just relax at the house, you will take in gorgeous sunsets right in front of you at the water.

Price Range: $400 - $425/night for a rental for 8 people. Can be negotiable on an individual basis when needed - such as number of individuals and season. Prices for longer stays can also be negotiated.
Security Deposit of $400
Cleaning fees $100 - $200.
In addition, retreat-like gatherings that include Del's cooking and boating services may be arranged with different pricing plans.
