Place looks like a prison from the outside but the inside is a classic 80's/90's style library and they have 3d printers, Lazer engravers, and other cool stuff for free on the second floor.
The Green County Library is going through a thorough renovation. You can check out books, but you will have to contact the library as it is not in a fully functioning mode.
Fantastic library. Great selection of material/books/movies/music/etc... Friendly and responsive staff. Also has the coolest "Spark Place" area, that lets you print graphics on multiple surfaces and record music/video as well. Very neat. Definitely check out the library here in town!
Very nice place. Good selection of books and activities. Parking is a little weird, but once you understand it is isn't so bad.
I love this library. It's not the biggest library I've ever been too, but there is plenty of selection and the employees are really nice. I love that they have a craft cart where my kids can bring an activity home. And if you have a project to complete, don't forget to check out Spark Place upstairs.
Stopped in for home school. Very nice work stations.
It was nice. They have self-checkout kiosks now. Also a summer reading program. The kid's section is delightful. They have really put the work in since I was young.
Reports of xenophobic behavior from the head of the library when children were being accosted by an older gentlemen went unaddressed. The head of the library then called the police on the children instead of dealing with the hostile and vile man. These children were children of color. And now that the video that is now circulating on TikTok this was indeed racially motivated. I hope you take a long and hard look at your policies & the way you treat the people in your community particularly those of color in situations like this. A library should be a welcoming place for everyone no matter their age or skin color.
Plenty of great books, magazines, and movies. I came here when I was little and made a lifelong friend with Lindy Moore, one of the librarians in the children's area. I still talk to her to this day and have enjoyed our company over the years. There is a new system in place using RFID chips in the books so check out is fast and you cannot steal the books. Great library overall.
I don't go often to the library but the staff has always been so very nice and helpful. Phones calls are returned prompt and the caller is knowledgeable and also so very nice. Thank you. Your kindness is appreciated
