Xenia A Kebab Grille was a good restaurant. Their selection of food was fairly decent, though not exactly what I expected. Quality was amazing though. Everything was delicious. The staff was a bit overwhelmed though, there were numerous people in the restaurant and only two people working there. A good experience overall though.
Small but very nice place for Mediterranean food. Ordered vegetarian Falafal , Soup and Salad with rice , Kabab . Every thing was perfect. Many thanks to Josh for his politeness and friendly behaviour. He explained everything about food . Very good experience. Vegetarian options: Falafal, Soup of the day with salad and rice.
Small place but good food The place is super small The food is relatively good It’s better than great number of Mediterranean restaurants. I tried soup, shawarma and kabab. I liked that they made their own bread. In spite of the small place, you can find a good work invested there. I was driving by and thought to give it a try! Good food and the owner is a nice person. Had some Kurdish cultural design I will advise him to work more on the furniture, space
I was craving an authentic gyro with some delicious baba ghanoush. I found this place on google with all of its wonderful reviews. I drove 36 minutes for a gyro. It was the best gyro I've ever had!! Fresh made pitas, large, chewy and airy. The kebabs were moist, and flavorful and the baba ghanoush was, in deed, delicious! I ordered seconds before leaving the parking lot to drive back home. Being from Philadelphia, living in Trenton and hanging out in NY; I've had tons of gyros but Xenia's is the best! It's Mediterranean food heaven. Kid-friendliness: They serve boardwalk fries, kebabs, chicken strips, falafel and other kid friendly options. Parking: It's in a big shopping center with plenty of parking in front of the building.
This place is a must! Oh my goodness the food is out of this world! I used to live in the Burg but now live in Texas and this place is a must go when I visit locally. You can’t beat real cooking anywhere else. I love the chicken meal, it is a favorite of mine. The marinate, rice and salad marry so well together. We also really enjoyed the lamb kebabs, so juicy and tender. The sauces are to die for, I can just drink the tzatziki sauce. The hot tea is real black hot tea. Love this place, will frequent while I am in town.
Just searched “vegan food near me” and found this place was nearby with 5 stars. I can’t tell you how much the food blew my mind. I had dolma, Kurdish lentil soup, and falafel with tahini. My sister had the steak kebab and said it’s literally the best steak she’s ever had in her life. It blew our minds. Please stop into this spot if you love good food.
The food here is amazing and reasonably priced. The location is pretty small, so prepare to either wait for a table on some days, or just plan to order take out. Mediterranean sauce with whatever you order is a must try.
Food was good. Hummus had a kick to it. They were really busy and order was only delayed a few min.
ABSOLUTELY wonderful food! This is cooking from the soul with plenty of love that’s evident in every bite. I was torn between chicken and lamb kebabs and ordered one of each. I paired it with a couple of pieces of falafel on the side. Every bite of every item including the tzatziki and Mediterranean sauces were absolutely fantastic. I HIGHLY recommend a visit. This is a small team preparing every dish made to order, so wait times can be a bit long, but it’s 100% worth the wait.
My husband was craving Mediterranean food when we were on our back to Tennessee and Xenia was only 3 minutes away from our hotel. Went over there and I wished we had brought some more to go! We had hummus appetizer to start with regular pita and garlic pita. Their pita bread are so light, soft, airy and crispy. The hummus was great also. I had chicken Kebab with rice and Mediterranean sauce. Rice was so good. Chicken were nice and moist. And the sauce was also great. My husband had the beef and steak kebabs. They were so delicious. His favorite sauce to dip them in was the pineapple horseradish sauce. Soo good. The man who took our orders was so helpful. He helped us made decisions on what items to get we wanted everything! The next time we find ourselves in Harrisonburg again, we'll definitely come back!
