I recently tried this place, and I wasn’t disappointed!! It’s so yummy!! My fave place for a takeaway now! Everything that I have ordered from here is hot fresh and tasty. Why it’s got bad reviews I don’t know, because I think it’s the best place! You have to try for yourselves.
I usually buy from here but tonight I bought a chicken fried rice and the whole thing tasted like raw prawns disgusting won’t be back
I’ve only ever ordered the Singapore Fried Rice and Singapore Fried Noodles. Both top notch. Good quick friendly service, even though they are always really busy. Food is well cooked, well priced and good size portions. A real pain though, it’s closed on a Tuesday. Please change.
This Chinese is awful, the food arrived quickly but was so bland and watery!! Hardly edible I never write reviews but I had to this time because of how awful it was. Note to restaurant : please put effort into food and not waste the public money!!
Used to be our favourite Chinese but the quality of the food has nosedived. We'd ordered the mock chicken and mock beef 6 weeks ago and it was completely different and a lot greasier than before. We took another chance tonight hoping it was a one off. It was even worse, very greasy and none of the great taste and texture from before. Even the spring rolls were horrible with a very watery dip. Very sad as we've ordered from here for years but never again.
Since I left my last good review below, 6 months ago I just ordered chicken fried rice. Not nice at all. The rice was old and gooey and the chicken was awful. Not fresh at all. How hard is it to make good fried rice. Very disappointed Food is much better now. We stopped eating here as the food quality was awful and everything was bland and tasteless. However we recently gave them another go and I really enjoyed the food. The chicken fried rice was lovely. The bbq sauce is tasty. The quality of the chicken is much better and I hope it stays this way. The rice was much fresher and very tasty. Noodles are much better as they were always over cooked and tasted old.
Couldn’t be more disappointed, ordered tofu with black bean sauce and got only tofu.. dry but greasy tofu and no sauce anywhere to be seen??? It was late in the evening and near closing time so I would understand if for some reason they didn’t have it but they could’ve at least give me some other sauce on the side or at least send a message apologising but nothing?? The food quality in general wasn’t the best either so I wouldn’t recommend this place unless it’s literally the only place open and you’re starving.
Good for take out. Few tables, not fancy. Cash only. Quick and tasted fresh. "Spicy" needed more kick. Good flavors though. Hong Kong style. Really enjoyed Crispy Duck Spring Rolls. Very reasonably priced and portions were not too large. Americans: Rice was not included with Chicken dinners. Order separately if desired. They did provide a decent sized bag of rice puffs with the meals. Kind of like a light, rice "pork rind", for reference.
Love love love the food from this place. I order quite regularly, and the food always comes quickly, piping hot and very flavoursome. The staff are always polite and willing to switch up my dish as per my requests. I think this is the best Chinese takeaway in North London.
Incredible food, I loved the udon noodles and duck in xo sauce. Also great salt and pepper squid and peking ribs.Speedy delivery and everything was piping hot. Will definitely be ordering again.
