Yankee Park is operated by Centerville-Washington Park District.
The group shelter includes restrooms and juice machines. Two sand volleyball courts, three tennis courts, and a playground are located close to the shelter. To the north, on the other side of a line of trees, is an open field that includes baseball diamonds, soccer fields and football practice areas. A nature trail leads through the wooded area in the southeast quadrant. One hundred and eleven flowering crabapple trees line the north and east borders. There is a paved path around the perimeter of the park.
