Yankton Parks and Recreation offers recreational, cultural, and developmental opportunities for the Yankton community and its visitors.
The Summit Activities Center, located at 1801 Summit Street, features an indoor pool with water slide, two gymnasiums, three multi-purpose rooms, cardiovascular equipment, multi-station weights, free weights, small indoor track, and locker facilities. The outdoor facilities include eight lighted tennis courts, an all-weather track that is available to the public, two softball fields, a walking path around the perimeter of the property, and an arboretum with many different variety of trees and shrubs.
