This was a last minute idea for us, but we will absolutely be coming back! It's a cozy little bistro with themed decor and super attentive staff. And the food! We got the dalmades to share, which were so good that my date jokingly said he was going to eat them all. Our meals came with salads, which were just so perfectly fresh, we devoured them. I got the gyro platter, but my date got the lamb platter and I know without a doubt that I'll be ordering that next time. The gyro was delicious, but the lamb was on a whole other level. We left with full, happy bellies and look forward to our next visit!
Picked this place to introduce my 7 year old to Greek food. Couldn't have done better. She loved the saganaki. I loved all of it. We will be back!Food: 5/5
Authentic Greek food, right near my hood! Fresh salads, homemade spanakopita, large selection of kabobs, THE BEST GYROS stuffed with grilled tasty greek fair This joint is tucked away in the Ashland shopping center on York Rd. Same location as Dutch Market, our family is HOOKED and so lucky they are minutes from our home!
This is my first time eating here. The restaurant is clean and has a good casual atmosphere. I had the spanikoita platter which includes a side greek salad. Food is very traditional and the spanikopita was packed with spinach. Food was not oversalted as you find in some other restaurants. The only reason i gave it a 4 instead of 5 is because i like my phylo a little more crispy. The waiter was polite, attentive and efficient. The prices are reasonable. Overall good experience!
Great food, simple and excellent menu. The lamb ribs are excellent. Moussaka was good. The shrimp souvlaki was good too. Kalamari was a little tough but very tasty. Loved the sauce. Our server was fabulous!
Quaint spot with amazing food. Place was packed 7pm on a Friday night but we got a table. BYOB with a $2 charge per person so luckily I brought in a bottle of wine I had just purchased. We ordered the samasaki ?spelling? app along with gyro platter and chicken slouvaki platter. Both were amazing. The pitas they give you here are next level. Great dinner!
We took our dog to the urgent care veterinarian a few doors down and had lunch at the Yasou Greek Bistro while we waited for our dog to get rehydrated. My wife had a chicken gyro. It was delicious. She let me have a little bit. I had an eggplant parmesan sub. I know that's Italian, not Greek, but I really like eggplant parmesan. It was very good. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. The men's room was clean. Service was prompt and efficient. I recommend the Yasou Greek Bistro.
I only found this place because I took my dog to the urgent care in the same shopping center. Since I was sitting in my car for several hours, I was getting hungry so I decided to go in and get a snack. The food is really good. I bought a tiropita cheese pie and a Greek salad with chicken for lunch the next day. They were both really good. This is the first time I have been able to find cheese pie outside of a Greek home and I was so excited. Even though it’s different than the ones I’ve had, it was still pretty good. The salad was also delish. The check was tender and delicious and the dressing was bright and full of flavor. I would not hesitate to go again.
Generally you get your food fast, but certainly NOT fast food. Have never had a bad meal tbere and even though quite tasty, it is inexpensive for a family to eat there. Dinner and drinks around $10 per person .Food: 5/5
Food did not taste fresh. My partner got pasta that tasted like it had been boiled in soapy water. Won’t be coming back.
