Yaya Tea is a Japanese cafe from NYC known for their bubble tea, onigiri, and imported Japanese snacks.
Yaya Tea is a Japanese cafe that specializes in freshly brewed tea, where imported premium tea leaves are purified through a filtration system daily. Other than using freshly brewed tea in our bubble teas, we take Taiwan’s classic beverage to another level by adding various jellies or popping boba into our drinks; bursting in your mouth with every gulp. Standing out amongst our competitors we serve handmade Onigiri (oh-ni-ge-re), also known as Riceball, which is only made on order. Onigiri is a popular Japanese snack that is convenient, delicious and is sought to be Japan’s number one comfort food. It is served with any desired filling and our special Nori (nor-ee), also known as a dried seaweed paper, which stays separate from the Onigiri to remain crispy until ready to be eaten. Other than our famously known Onigiri, we also sell popular Japanese snacks from chips, chocolate, cake, and ramen all imported from Japan itself!
Yaya Tea was originally established and crafted in Downtown New York in 2007, that began as a family run business to now a franchise well known in New York. Within our company, our priority and focus are to serve fresh quality food to our consumer and to ensure that our consumers not only enjoy our products but also seek comfort and to find a sense of an oasis when coming to any of our locations. We continue to expand throughout the East Coast with locations in Chinatown, Little Italy, Brooklyn, Midtown, and now in Chapel Hill, NC. Whether it’s for a quick bite in your hectic schedule or a place to hang out in on your downtown, we hope you can join us in any of our locations!
