YOSSHS is committed to preserving local history in Northeast Adams County, PA. Our museum and archives are open Wednesdays 6-9pm and the 1st Sunday, 2-4pm.
The purpose of YOSSHS is to promote and encourage the study of the historical and cultural aspects of Northeastern Adams County, including York Springs Borough and the townships of Huntington, Latimore, and Tyrone, by researching, collecting, preserving, exhibiting, and interpreting the stories of those communities and their relationship to each other, to Adams County, to the state of Pennsylvania, and beyond.
