Food is ok! Yee's bewn there for years and in my opinion the quality of the food has changed. The "chicken" fried rice! My rice was cooked perfect texture but it was on the greasy side! Well that "chicken-like" meat is like that freeze dried chicken meat that comes in a cup of noodles! Ugh! The egg roll was soggy! I ordered Beef and Broccoli and instead got Broccoli with Beef! Orange chicken wasnt orange but somewhere in between Brown and Dark Magenta! Service was cool. Plus is they give you plenty of Soy Sauce and Plum Sauce I guess thats for me to finish flavoring the food!
If you're ever in the mood for some guilty, greasy, Chinese... this is your place ! It's really clean here and they have a really wide drink selection. The service is really good and their teriyaki chicken was tender and delicious!!! I also loved their reasonable pricing! A plate with 2 entrees and 2 sides is only $6.95! I am definitely coming back.
Very good Chinese food. The staff was very friendly and the food was very tasty. The location of Yee's makes it ideal for a quick bite for families living in the View Park / Windsor Hills area of town. Will definitely go there again. I especially liked their combination plates which gave us great value for our money.
The food was actually pretty good. They even had Chinese broccoli and made it work garlic sauce at I asked. They don't always have Chinese broccoli but they were kind enough to check. The portions are rather large. The hot and sour soup was very good. I had shrimp with black bean sauce, my favorite Chinese dish and the standard by which I judge a restaurant and it was pretty good. I would highly recommend.
This restaurant was not stellar. The positive factors: The place is clean on the inside. Easy to get to a lots of free parking. Almost empty lot and now I know why. The rest...service., foos, price...negative. I did not have a good experience here. The employees were unfriendly, not even cordial. Asked for recommendations, I did not receive any. There is no language barrier to excuse this. After reviewing the menu and ready to order, the woman who was supposed to take my order walked away from me, without even acknowledging my presence. No excuses made and did not apologize when she came back. Straight up order ghosting. My meal was ready quite fast. usually that's a plus but I don't think so in this situation. I ordered beef with broccoli, togo. I'm used to beef with broccoli with brown sauce. I can say I have eaten this dish hundreds of times before at many different locations all throughout the United States. It's never been served any other way. This beef with broccoli came with a clear tasteless sauce. That made the dish unpalatable. The rice was typical, nothing outstanding. The portion sizes were generous but the ratio of beef to broccoli was heavily favored to broccoli. Didn't matter I didn't eat it anyways. Based on the customer service, how the dish was prepared and what you got for the price $10, this place is not worth going to.
I have only ever had the shrimp fried rice which is tasty, comes with a nice amount of shrimp, and is a good value. But the store location leaves a lot to be desired. I have been a dozen times and never seen anyone eating inside, but there are always people there placing or picking up their orders. A few times they have closed like 5 mins early which sucks when you rush to get there on time. Many people come right when they close, I have many times and I was never alone, including when it was closed early. One time they locked the door right to my face...5 mins early.
Chicken egg rolls with plum sauce can be pretty tasty, just wish they weren't crammed into a such a small box. I do like the Bbq Pork Fried Rice. The Egg Foo Young is decent. Bullet proof glass all around the counter tells me maybe they've been robbed, I'm guessing.
My husband wanted to try this place after hearing from our neighbor how good it was. I told him that I have passed this restaurant many times and I have never wanted to tried it. So last night I gave in, and well it was $28.00 dollars gone to the trash. We got Orange Shrimp and Chicken Low Mein. The only good thing about the shrimp was the sauce and the Low Mein the noodles. The onions on the Low Mein where not cook well enough and the chicken tasted reheated which I have come to realize that a lot of Asian places do it ruining the meal in the end. I have a sensitive body and cannot have raw onions. Well my husband killed his curiosity, but we would not be coming back. I rather go to our neighborhood Chinese places that have never dissapointed me or Panda Express. Plus the counter were your order and pick up your food makes me feel weird because the glass is so thick, and the lights are freaking bright ... yikes.
I came in around 9:15pm and felt rush to order while I was trying to look over the menu. Its my first time Here!! So I ordered what i would order at any Chinese restaurant, I wish I had more time to look at menu peacefull y the orange chicken was very chewy and tough, but I did like the flavored had a hint of spicy but maybe not cooked long enough. And the chicken fried rice was very average. There sweet and sour sauce seems sketchy lol I don't think its sweet n sour sauce. Its honestly soooooooo expensive for basically two sides I spent $12! Next time I'm gonna just hit up panda express and pay less for more and for the better quality. P.s. they don't give fortune cookies with meals , or I didnt get one
The quality has changed. I’ve been a patron of Yee’s for many years late 90ties to be exact. So I’m use to my regular Chicken Chop Suey, Beef Broccoli and Chicken Chow Mein. The problem with my orders is that they had more vegetables then meat, yes mounds of vegetables and very little chicken and beef. And for $28+ dollars for these 3 large containers you would think that they would have equal portions of veggies to meat ratio, no they did not. I would say out of all 3 containers there were bits and pieces of meat small, small, small pieces, not good. So, word to the wise check inside your containers before leaving the establishment and if you see mounds and mounds of veggies on top, that’s exactly what you got. Note to Yee’s: Please improve on the preparation of the food or lower your prices and/or add equal amounts of vegetables/meat to your entrees. What I ordered wasn’t what I paid for this isn’t fair to the consumers, thank you.
