Food was horrible and cold, was charged $27 for this plate and a two drinks. Was so disappointed, was all grease there was nothing edible on this plate!!
Great takeaway. Rustic and authentic home style cooking. The food was excellent and I can only recommend the place. Great value and tasteFood: 5/5
This is my second time at this place and my last time I didn't learn I learned this time food is so so salty it's like someone pure a whole bottle of salt in the ribs the rice the chicken are you guys trying to kill your customers I had to spit the ribs out today Tuesday February 14 if you guys are trying to save your meats for the next day you are killing people doing it if you go to this place and having blood pressure problems it's coming from this place people like fresh food not salty food
Food is amazing, great choices and I didn’t try their drinks yet!
Not the first time recently I’ve experienced the same thing. Been going for years went yesterday bought $10 plate with rice and meat. Rice had no flavor and was dry. Same thing with meat. Disappointed. Dominican/Puerto Rican so I know what flavor is.
Authentic and delicious. This is a staple of the JP neighborhood for good reasons. Check them out, won't regret their cheap prices and flavorful food.
This place is extremely hit or miss. They enjoy randomly overcharging you by being very ambiguous with their pricing. Sometimes the rice is very burnt and is downright inedible. They will not give you a refund either. Their fried pork are extremely hit or miss. Sometimes it tastes decent and other times it tastes like chewing on shoe leather. If you come here on just the right day when the stars align and everything is somehow cooked somewhat properly, then you might have a 3 star meal on your hands at best.
This place not the same anymore seams like new owners the worker making my order told me one price and then the young lady cashing ask another ,person and he add a dollar more on .$$$
Good spot for Fritura dominicana. Reasonably priced.
Delicious Dominican comfort foods and drinks on the cheap. Take out only.
