Yo's Aquarium

The store sells fish at a higher price than common chain pet-store brands. It’s a bit cramped and somewhat dirty -the older shopkeeper that usually works the counter wasn’t tolerant of accommodating customer requests such as asking for a specific fish, he just scooped up whatever from the tank and got annoyed if you ask him to put more time in getting the right fish. -the only thing keeping this review from a single star is the younger fishkeeper that works the back who’s more friendly and accommodating.

This place is great. I owe my reef tank success to this place. They are great and their prices are amazing.

Love this place. They are my local aquarium store. They are helpful, have a nice variety and my go to place for supplies. It's crowded and pretty chaotic in there there.

I am thrilled they are still open through the pandemic. I started with a big fish bowl and I am now up to my new 150 Gallon tank. I enjoy the variety, I've never been sold an unhealthy fish and the prices are fine. I'm going over right now to get 2 more fish. It's my new addiction.

Terrible place overall unfriendly and doesn't have prices for fishes which is very inconvenient and seems like the prices changes really sus and fishes are unhealthy there's always dead fishes. The location is super dirty & hard to breathe.

Walked in to browse their fish and purchased a Green Terror. Took the GT home and put it in my quarantine tank...the fish was eating that same night! Very healthy fish with no signs of stress. Two weeks later I purchased 3 Jurupari and put them in my quarantine tank. Same experience with my Green Terror. Very healthy fish. A month later I purchased the 4 remaining Jurupari, this time didn't quarantine them as they looked very healthy. A month has gone by and all the fish are thriving. The quality freshwater fish from this store is what will keep me coming back. Theres nothing worse than purchasing fish from a store and having to combat diseases, infections, or parasites. The only reason I gave this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because the older man is a bit on the grouchy side. That said, I would much rather deal with grouchiness than sick fish any day.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! Been coming here for years!! Family owned business. They definitely make you feel that you and your pet is their family too. My go to fish place for feeder fish and reptile supplies. Mr. Yo and his family are VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. if you need help or assistance they are there to give you the best advice you can ask for to keep your pets living healthy and happy. He has everything here from a-z. Very reasonable pricing.

My fishes guppies and corydoras were sick they were swimming very odd & fast sweeping the aquarium walls, so Yo helped me out on purchasing medicine for fishes. We put 1 medicine packets daily for over 12+ days, and also bought new heater as Yo recommended. Thanks to Yo, I finally have the fishes back to normal condition. I will come back to Yo for if my pet fishes need something.

I was walking by. As a bird owner for 22 years I was curious to walk in their store because I heard a bird from outside. I was looking for this bird only to find a cage covered with a bird inside surrounded by boxes taller than the cage. This is not ok. It's broad daylight. What message are you trying to convey here. You have a pet store so it's expected that you at least somewhat care for animals, but to my knowledge from this experience you seem to neglect instead. Not trying to be dramatic, but that was enough for me to walk out immediately and not Want to return.

Went in there yesterday for 3 pajama cardinals a sea urchin and some kind of yelloy faced blue body pygmy that supposedly stays the same size i purchased it at I spent over a $100 worth in live stock. Not to mention its been my LFS for the last three years and the fact that almost every time I go I spend atleast $50 or more. Long story short I came back the next day today and told him how one of the pajama cardinals didn't even make it threw acclamation and one of the other ones didn't look like he was going to be alive much longer. He wasn't I even showed him a video . He ended up giving me two of the most stressed out picked on tatherd fined pj's out of the 3 . Btw the 3rd one is strong healthy and alive so it's absolutely not my water quality nore the way I drip aclamaded them . He told me all he can do is give me half off. Thanks for the awesome customer service he never even let me pick them out and was ruching me and my fiance out the door even though there was still another custo.er in the store still deciding on what to get and hagli g. Anyway this was my horrible experience and idk why I haven't written a review before to warn ppl that it's literally all about the money for him Noth the care and health of the animals he sells to the public and you can see that just by walking I. . Thank God I don't live rite down the street from his store anymore. That's the only reason I would keep going is convince. Nothing g els and yesterday was a good reminder.
