Yoga, mat pilates, medtiation and mindfulness instruction and classes.
The first yoga class I took was in 2004. This yoga class helped me to reduce immense stress
due to a previous job. I enjoyed yoga so much that I became an instructor in 2008. Enrolling and completing a yearlong 250 hour teacher training program at the YogaLife Institute, Devon Pennsylvania helped to enhance teaching skills and expand knowledge of yoga anatomy and philosophy that I already possess. I see myself as a lifelong student of yoga, constantly investigating continuing education opportunities. In addition to the 250 hours of hatha yoga training, I also completed a Yin Yoga 40-hour teacher training program at the YogaLife Institute.
Teaching yoga makes me a better yoga student. My belief is everyone can practice yoga in a safe and sustainable way. Yoga should be available in some form to everyone. Yoga is a wonderful way to get fit, increase flexibility and de-stress. It is the perfect complement/addition to any exercise routine. There are always options and modifications given for all poses and I try my best to gear the class to the overall needs of the group. It is my personal goal to have everyone who attends one of my classes feel better on their way out than on their way in.
The yoga classes I instruct are small, personalized and all the participants are given individualized attention. Yoga poses are modified to fit each person's body, yoga props are utilized to ensure safety and stability during the yoga practice, relaxation methods are taught with a bit of meditation thrown in as well. Private or semi-private yoga clients have a yoga practice tailored to their specific needs, wants, goals.
I truly believe that the practice of yoga is accessible to everyone and every body in the way that brings out that individual's highest best. My rates are affordable for all interested in beginning, continuing or deepening a yoga practice. Looking forward to hearing from you and keep checking back to see listings for special events.
Thank you!!!
