We just got home from our stay at the park. Overall it was a good trip. Our spot was a little unlevel but we were able work it out. My son really enjoyed the pool, splash pad, jumping pillows and playgrounds. The bathrooms were clean during the times we used them. They had a singer come play on Sunday, which was nice. We also rented a golf cart, which was a good decision because we were a bit far from the pool, recreation center and Cafe. We would certainly return to the park.
November 2022. We enjoyed our stay here, we had 4 adults, 2 kids and a dog and were pretty comfortable. The kitchen is a little small and the shower is small can barely move. There is a screened in porch with 2 rocking chairs and a bench. Outside there is a fireplace and a picnic table. There are lots of activities for kids. Close to natural bridge state park, safari park and pink Cadillac restaurant. Overall had a very good experience!
OH MY GOODNESS!! One neighbor decided they needed to share their music ALL DAY LONG even when they were not out. No peace at all!! It was awful!! We were near the river, should have been nice and peaceful - everyone else was quite and no problem. You would have thought someone from management would routinely cruise the resort. Apparently NOT. And there are kids on power scooter cutting in and out of cars and almost got hit. And some golf cart drivers flying down the road and almost hit the cars. Pool was cloudy and the chlorine was really strong. Not coming back here ever again!!
Awesome mountain views. Everyone is so friendly. Plenty of activities for the kidos to do. Very nice and clean bathhouse also. We had heard about how big they do Halloween and candies for the kids. Let me tell you the mountain came to life at dark. Every kid of ghost and goblins and then some. That campground was over the top.
This campground is awesome! The staff goes above and beyond to be helpful. The restrooms and laundry room are very clean. My daughter always makes new friends there playing BooBoo went to hibernate and we were a couple minutes late but he took the extra time to come back out just to say hi. Like I said the staff goes above and beyond.
Super nice amenities. Very nice resort! Bath houses are amazing! Shower is so clean! Cleaning staff deserves all the praise! So clean! Cafe, Store, Arcade was nice and clean as well! The Rec staff was great and maintenance was on top of it! Would stay again and again! Thanks for a fun and great stay!
I love the experience your team member Daisy Rodriguez she is wonderful person. She made me and my family feel welcome and as we a part of jelly stone meaning as we have gone there for years. Daisy has an excellent customer service and is very good with people and very professional. Daisy is the reason will love to go back to natural bridge Jellystone thank you Daisy and thank you natural bridge Jellystone park.
I would have given at least four stars, but I feel that there weren't enough restrooms, and the ones near our site had no hot water. There is more to do at this Jellystone, but I prefer the Jellystone in Luray. More bathrooms, and plenty of hot water. In addition, I feel the the site we were at was smaller than the ones we have stayed at previously.
I have been coming to Jellystone for 16 years, and the last trip was a disappointment. If you have small kids its great, mine was once small, however, teenagers are driving around all hours of the night on golfcarts, way younger than 16 driving recklessly , and people seem to party louder and into wee hours more now than before. We didnt see anyone the whole four days at night from staff checking the grounds. We even had to go in the hut to get our own putt putt clubs because the boy working was in the lake on the blow up things chasing girls. For what it cost now to stay, which is extreme compared to state parks, and other campgrounds, I would think they cared a little bit more than they do. and PS> good luck reaching someone via phone, unless you get lucky you can call for several days and still not get a call back or a person to answer.
The web advert lead me to believe there was more here, 2 water slides in one unit with two pitches one a bit faster than the other a walk through area of various sprayers and water dumps, a giant bouncy air mat, a nice pool and a nice man made large pond that's not too deep is what's actual. The James river is a stones throw away with tubing available off site, fishing kayaking or canoeing. Friendly staff and service. The on site cafe is more a diner dive style eatery. Try the pic a nic basket pulled pork cheese barbacue sauce over a giant plate of fries. Surprisingly good. Rented the Cindy bear cabin for several days. Strong air conditioning! Small but has all amenities including dishes and to! Cabin need maintenance but not bad! Add on amenities such as the television hold tray are raw plywood, and a few other patches as well do not match the patina of the cabin wood work. Maintainance needs a better budget to match stains wood types ect. I wouldn't be so picky but 3 days rental here could have bought me 2 days in a beach front motel at VA beach.
