We stayed in a Boo Boo cabin for 2 nights on Labor Day weekend. We are a family of 4 and we were very comfortable in our cabin. The cabin was clean when we arrived. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the restrooms and the showers! Our kids had so much fun with all of the fun and creative activities. The pool and splash park were well kept and super fun for all ages. The beach area was perfect for sandy play. We fished off of one of the many docks. The activity field was a great for a picnic! My favorite activities were karaoke at night and fireworks. The entire park was litter free & we saw staff members checking for trash and bathroom/shower cleanliness throughout our stay. The staff worked so hard to stay on schedule and make sure everyone got to experience the activities!! I was pleasantly surprised that they all still had such good attitudes after working their tails off!! That was super and it makes me think they really enjoy their jobs! Leaving was so hard but as soon as we hit the interstate, we booked our next stay!!!
This was my families second time back. We stayed again in a Yogi Cabin. Was a great weekend it was. We all love the water park area. It can get pretty packed on the weekend, and there is limited umbrellas, so plan accordingly. The cabin was clean and ready to go. I do suggest bringing some extra cooking supplies. We could have used a larger frying pan and cutting board. Overall, it was a wonderful time. We will be back again.
Our family had THE BEST time! The campgrounds were clean, the staff was extremely friendly and the cabin we stayed in was great! We are so glad we chose to go there instead of a different camp site. We look forward to going back every summer! And a special thank you to Ms. Kristy she worked in the ranger station. My son lost his Yogi Bear and she helped him get a new one! Thank y’all again!!
We had a blast staff was super friendly, cabin was clean, and several activities for the kids. The only thing was the staff was eating on their job in the cafeteria which is unsanitary due to her handling food. We also saw a worker smoking cigarettes other than that we had a great time!
Yogi on the Lake was a lot of fun. Lots of activities for 4 and 5 year old. Splash pad, pool, jump bubble. Daily activities that are mostly affordable. Lots of free activities as well. Was not a fan of the food from the cafe. The price point was high and quality about 3 stars. Given our economy it’s understandable. Ice cream 5 dollars, come on now. Stayed in cabin, positive experience with rooms, loft, bathroom, kitchen. Sealed sheets and towels. Kids had great time in loft. Wish the loft beds were made like the main bedroom. The negative was the steps both indoor and outdoors. They were not easy to go up or down. Not very safe either. The ratio between the tread and rise were out of wack. Let’s talk pool area. The life guards do an okay job. Not consistent with who is told to not jump into the pool. One spent entire time wearing ear buds and watching the screen on his phone. Allowing footballs and tennis balls throwing in the pool not safe. Couple of kids were hit in the head. Adults allowed unlimited alcohol from ice chest kind of ruined it for family friendly. Lots of profanity, adult hand gestures. Not sure what trading the life guards receive to handle these situations. I feel like it needs to be much more. So I suggest Management does some additional training for them, post family friendly signs, no cussing or adult gestures. In summary I will return. Made great memories hope to make more. Will educate myself as to what steps can be taken for unruly adults.
Stayed three days and had a great time!! Christy and the rest of the staff could not have been nicer. Cabins were clean, food at the cafe was very good, would recommend this to anyone. We will definitely be going back.
This Place is amazing especially the owner Ms Nikki is amazing and the activities are crazy. the glow ride is so fun there are hard workers here to.The water park is fun.The workers are fun for kids to Play with. Overall I give this Place a 100 out of 10
Staff not aware of park layout. Park not maintained. Roads severely rutted. So much debris that the roads and sites could not be located. After an hour, staff told us to just pick a spot and park. Sites severely sloped. Could not fully level. Not big rig friendly. Cannot recommend and will not return.
Lovely park on the lake. Clean and well kept. Lots of activities. Staff friendly and helpful. Accommodations kinda pricey ...
We stayed an extra day because of the beautiful scenery. The very kind staff made everything easy and enjoyable. Even with the threat of tornadoes and a lightning storm.
